Essentially, it is floating in 11 inches of water at skin surface temperature filled with 600kg of magnesium sulphate salt. The environment is controlled so there's minimal stimulus; to stimulate weightlessness without light, sound, touch. Benefits of Floating:
Floating improves general well-being from three aspects: gravity reduction, sensory deprivation, magnesium sulfate salt
Gravity Reduction takes the stress of joints and our body while improving blood circulation. With our body fully supported, this facilitates bodily processes such as recovery and detoxification. Float Singapore would like to thank all our amazing floaters who's been with us during our journey.
We have decided to end our adventure due to personal reasons. But Fret not! There is still Palm Ave Float Club aka Derrick Foo who's adopting our pods.
Do continue to support Floatation therapy. A little downtime resets us all to face our challenges.
On that note, with a grateful heart, I wish everyone a peaceful happy journey on earth!

A very warm greetings to all our Floaters! We@Float House Singapore sincerely Thank you for a wonderful 2015. As the year comes to an end, it's time to wind down and spend time with love ones and friends.
So we are taking a little break on the 25-26 December.
We are open 24th December 10.30am-3pm.
And will be back to business as usual on the 27th to the 31th December.

A lot of times in our busy lives, we don't have time to stop and even take a breather for ourselves. We are constantly keeping our body and mind busy so we don't have time to absorb life's issues.
I am extremely guilty of that myself. This article is a little reminder that sometimes, we need to pay attention to ourselves and take a little break... To recharge. To heal. To cry. It's perfectly all right to let it go.

Athletic Performance/Sports Rehabilitation
Athletes use floating to enhance their performance and speed their recovery from injuries. It keeps them "on top of their game". After years of mediocrity, the Philadelphia Eagles acquired a tank, and then went on to win the NFC championship in 1980.

The Philadelphia Phillies noticed the tank, and many of these players began floating too. This team went on to win its first world series in decades in 1980.

Other famous floating athletes include Carl Lewis, who used in-tank visualization techniques to prepare himself for his gold medal long jump at the 1988 Seoul Olympics, 1998 Ironman champion Peter Reid, the Dallas Cowboys, the US 2000 Olympic team, and the Australian 2000 Olympic team.

What are the benefits?
Floating takes the pressure off tired and sore joints and muscles. It increases blood circulation which can accelerate healing.
Relaxed muscles are likely to heal faster than tired, tight and knotted muscles.
Floatation can help reduce pain, help backache and muscle injuries and relieve stress and anxiety that often accompanies an injury.
The athlete emerges from the floatation pod alert but in a state of deep relaxation. The effects can last anywhere from a few hours to a few days.

The first time a heard about 'Float' was from my sister who recently had it in Koh Samui. I was surprised to find one in Singapore. The informations I received was excellent and the staff explained in details about this therapy.
I made my first visit to try it out and it was fabulous. I slept so well that night which I suffer from insomnia due to my injuries. The environment is clean and the staff are friendly and very knowledgable with any queries you have. I felt so revitalized, relaxed and stress free that I made a second visit. I felt even better on my second float. I now go on a regular basis to maintain my wellness.
I also recommended my sister in law to give it a try. She tried it and her aches and pains was so much better that she bought the package deal.
I truly recommend this therapy. A must to try for anyone. 10/10
