We had a great time at HDB My Nice Home, meeting residents and Dr Choo Pei Ling, adviser to Chua Chu Kang GRC Grassroots Organisations (Tengah), and exchanging ideas on ways to stay well.

🧠 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻, 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮 💬

TGCH Geriatric Lead, Dr Tan Li Feng, together with a multidisciplinary NUHS team, has received a S$2.33 million grant from MOH NMRC to pioneer an AI-powered Brain Care Programme, helping people take early proactive steps to protect their brain health.

As Dr Tan shares: “We aim to inspire and enable people to actively care for their brains, making brain health a lifelong priority.”

As our surgical lead at TGCH, Dr Gao Yujia is helping to build a smarter, more connected hospital for the future. But his work doesn’t stop at Tengah.

He recently joined a team from NUHS to complete an Augmented Reality Surgery system at HopeXchange Medical Centre in Ghana. He also trained local clinicians and bringing this life-changing tech to a rural medical outreach.

We had a wonderful time at the NUHS Residency Career Fair, meeting passionate junior doctors and medical students. Every conversation reminded us why we’re excited to build a workplace that supports, nurtures and grows with the next generation.

This Father’s Day, we spotlight two of our own — a clinician calling her dad; and a physiotherapist chatting with his son. Through their conversations, we saw the love, laughter and support that keeps our healthcare team going.

Whichever endearing names we call them…dad, daddy, papa, papi, we thank them for being our quiet strength! 💪
