Intuition. We all have it. Some of us hear it louder than others do. That inner voice of mine oftentimes gets lost in the distractions of the day so I’m working on cultivating it.

Dreams also often contain important messages and I rarely, sadly, remember mine!

I learned from today that nutmeg can help awaken the connection with dreams and that Blue Lotus works well with our Third Eye and Star Anise helps strengthen our intuition.

So a cup of warm almond milk, a touch of honey and little sprinkle of nutmeg it is plus a smudge of Blue Lotus (it smells divine) and Star Anise on my Third Eye, before signing off for the day.

✨ There has been a stirring in my soul this year to reconnect with nature, gifts of the earth, the gifts within me. By coincidence, which I like to see as divine timing, I stumbled upon a course called Whisperings of the Goddess. Bam! 🌟 Thank you Vanessa Jean for heeding the call the create this sacred space 💫

This week we explored the Earth element. Using scent as an anchor we crafted this blend in honour of Mama Gaia. Imagine the majesty of the trees and strength of the roots, firmly plugged into the source of so much love, unwavering commitment to renewal, Mother Earth.

The good witch goddess in me is having so much fun these days! It is crazy to think that my 16 year old self is settling back into my consciousness. The unbridled version of me that got swept away through the madness of “adulthood”. So ironic that as I “grow up” I lean more into the younger me.

This is my potion of choice for these times, to anchor me to my core values and principles:

It’s That time of the month. That plus the added effects of the equinox I guess that are making me feel a little extra susceptible, shall we say.

When I need to nip whatever that tickle is in my throat I don’t hesitate, I go straight for these immune boosters. They are packed with nature’s powerhouses - Clove, Black Pepper, Cinnamon, Oregano and Melissa, to name a few. It’s all about optimization for me these days. Without the nasty toxicity.

I’ll take one now and if I still need it, one more before I go to bed. That should do the trick.

Oh and yes, I’m writing myself a list of superfoods that I’m reading about in that book in the background, Cacao Addict. The author put together some recipes using some incredible ingredients including, you guessed it, nature’s most potent flavour amplifiers; essential oils! Stay tuned.
