Last Friday (5 Dec 2025), we wrapped up a wonderful collaboration with the at Punggol Library! 🌊📚✨

We hosted an ocean-themed interactive storytelling and sensory play session inspired by “Over in the Ocean,” where children explored textures, hunted for sea animals, and discovered hidden treasures. 🐠💙

We loved seeing inclusive, open interactions between children of differing needs — a beautiful reminder that every child is unique and can come together to play and explore.

Holiday Hawker Adventure!
This school holiday, our Student Care children went on a fun and meaningful hawker centre outing! Beyond the yummy food, the trip focused on building important life skills – practicing real-life social interactions, ordering food politely, handling money, making choices, following instructions, and navigating the community safely together.
It was wonderful to see our children growing in confidence, independence, and communication while enjoying local delights with their friends and teachers. Learning truly happens everywhere – even at the hawker centre! 💛

Set sail with us on an underwater adventure as we dive into stories, explore ocean life, and splash into sensory play magic! 💙🐠 A wonderfully collaboration between The Growing Academy and National Library Board

This session is open to the public and specially curated to bring neurotypical learners and children with special needs/learning differences together — creating an inclusive environment where everyone can explore, learn and play side by side. 🤝💛

🎃 Our little ghouls and goblins came dressed in their spookiest (and most adorable!) costumes for our Halloween celebration! 👻🧙‍♀️ From trick-or-treat games to fun-filled Halloween activities, the children had an amazing time soaking up all the festive fun. 🕸️🕷️

It was truly a day full of laughter, creativity, and Halloween magic! 💫🧡

We recently collaborated with the amazing team at to give our children a special hair salon experience 💇‍♀️💇‍♂️

For some of our little ones, getting a haircut can be a challenging experience — and that’s why opportunities like these mean so much to us. With the patience, care, and thoughtfulness from the Room.SG team, our children were able to feel safe, confident, and even excited during their salon visit 💖

✨🌕 Mid-Autumn Magic at TGA! 🌕✨

Our children had a wonderful time celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival through a series of fun and meaningful activities — from crafting their very own lanterns and fans 🏮🎨, to enjoying a lantern parade at the nearby park (TGA Selaseh) 🌳, and even tasting a variety of delicious mooncakes together 🥮💛.

It was truly a celebration filled with light, laughter, and togetherness. Wishing everyone a joyous Mid-Autumn Festival! 🌕✨🧡

🎉 Children’s Day Part 2 with our TGA UPL team! 🎉

This year’s theme for UPL was Community Helpers — our little ones transformed into the people they look up to and admire! From firefighters and doctors to chefs and builders, they had a blast stepping into their roles through fun hands-on play. 🧑‍🚒👩‍🍳👮‍♀️

The highlight of the day? Making their own hot dog stands and zooming around the Centre on the animal vrooms to wrap up a fun-filled celebration! 🌭🐾
