Lucky was found on 19th May 2015 appx at 9pm by a kind lady who was walking her dog. I was alerted and together with another kind lady that was passing through, she called SPCA to notify them. We were informed that the rescue officer was out and could not confirm an estimate of the time where he could come. I honestly don't know what is the purpose of emergency? Wasting no time, as the blood was still fresh and Lucky was in a frantic state, my mum and I drove down to a respected and trusted vet clinic well known among most pet lovers. Companion Vet Clinic at boon teck road. They were swift, calm, professional and most importantly treated Lucky like any animal that came in whether stray or owned, that
is with compassion and urgency. Thank you very much to the team at Companion Vet for the care you have given not only to Lucky but to all that came in smile emoticon
Lucky was very blessed to be treated by a surgeon that was exceptionally detailed and conscientious. And I will always be grateful to him for his kindness and effort to make Lucky pull through. Lucky had to undergo 3 surgeries. You can see from the x-rays. Initially she was considered appx 3-5years but upon examining her bones, she is actually very very young. 11-12 mths old. How can someone be so cruel? These surgeries were important for this means Lucky could walk again. This was a cat that was found helpless and left to die. If not for the kindness and the love of animals that these ladies had, she would be gone. For many of you that have animals, be it a goldfish, parrot, dog or a cow, you would certainly feel the anguish and definitely the anger when you see such cruelty done to an animal. Whether was she hit, thrown down or tortured, we can't do much about it. All we can moving forward is hope that she pulls through and lives the life she deserves to have.
