Anxiety isn’t always loud. And it doesn’t always look like panic.
⏩ Anxiety is ongoing.
It lingers in the background, subtle but exhausting. It can show up as constant worry, overthinking, and tension that never quite goes away.
⏩ Panic attacks are sudden and overwhelming.
They bring intense fear, physical symptoms like racing heart or dizziness, and often feel like they come out of nowhere.
People with high functioning anxiety rarely connect their symptoms to chronic anxiety because they’re still “doing well.”
🚩 But that doesn’t mean they’re OK.
You don’t need to have panic attacks to be struggling. You don’t need to wait for things to fall apart before seeking support.
