SPED A.C.E. Day 2026, held on 14 April, brought the SPED community together in a meaningful celebration of progress, partnership and excellence. Graced by Senior Parliamentary Secretary Dr Syed Harun Alhabsyi, the evening recognised outstanding educators through the MOE–SG Enable Awards.

We are proud to share that Ms Michelle Chin, Transition Planning Coordinator at CPAS School (West), received the Outstanding SPED Teacher Award, in recognition of her person-centred, student-focused work.

Congratulations as well to Mr Abhinav Joshi from CPAS School (East), a recipient of the MOE Masters Scholarship in Special Education, and to CPAS Schools (East and West) for receiving the Innovation Award (Certificate of Commendation) for the Holo Tracker project. Well done! 🥰🙌

🌍💛 International Friendship Day at CPAS School West

Last Thursday, our students at CPAS School West celebrated International Friendship Day through shared moments of creativity and connection. From creating an Art Tile Mural, now displayed on the Art Wall at the back of the hall, to making friendship bracelets, the day was filled with meaningful expressions of care and togetherness.

Moments like these are made possible through the support of our community. If you would like to help us continue creating inclusive learning experiences for our clients, consider making a donation here: https://www.giving.sg/donate/campaign/support-children-in-receiving-timely-intervention-and-therapy-cpas26 . 🧡✨

Yesterday, our students at Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore School (CPASS) East came together to celebrate Hari Raya!🌙✨

As part of the celebration, students took part in a fun quiz about Hari Raya traditions. During the quiz, teachers used two buttons labelled A and B, allowing our non-verbal students to express their choices and share their answers independently. This simple approach ensured that every student had a voice and could participate fully in the festivities.

Moments like these remind us that communication goes beyond words. With the right tools and support, every child can be empowered to express themselves and be included.

As we celebrate this season of giving, consider supporting over 800 children and adults by making a donation. Your generosity helps us continue providing essential education, therapy, and developmental support for children and adults with cerebral palsy or multiple disabilities.

On Tuesday, we had the privilege of meeting the students and staff from Elias Park Primary School, where we shared more about the work we do at Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore.

Students explored how assistive technology helps to adapt everyday items like pencils, rulers, and scissors to empower our clients to use these tools more independently. They also learnt about disability etiquette, leaving with greater confidence in fostering a more inclusive society.

A heartfelt thank you to Elias Park Primary School for championing inclusion and for raising nearly $20,000 for CPAS's 'Spare Your Change for Suzy ' Campaign in support of over 800 children and adults with cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities 💙

This year, we were grateful to be part of SAESL’s International Women's Day celebrations, where we set up a mini pop-up booth to connect with their staff, share our stories, and raise awareness about the work we do with children and adults with cerebral palsy and multiple disabilities.

We were deeply touched by the generosity shown. Every contribution goes a long way in supporting our community and the services we provide ❤️

Thank you to Singapore Aero Engine Services Pte Ltd (SAESL) for partnering with us. Together, we continue to empower lives and build a more inclusive society. ✨
