🎉 A Heartwarming Graduation at Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS)! 💖

Last Friday, we celebrated a meaningful milestone as students from CPAS School (East), CPAS School (West) and children from our Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children (EIPIC) graduated! This year is especially significant as we also mark the first ever graduating batch from CPAS School (West).

From CPAS School (West), our Principal Mrs Koh-Lim Ai Lay, shared:
“As Principal, the annual graduation ceremony is always an occasion filled with mixed emotions. Watching our students grow through their years at CPASS brings immense pride and joy. At the same time, having journeyed with them from the age of seven to eighteen, it is bittersweet to see them graduate. Deep down, I hope they will continue to learn and flourish beyond our school, carrying forward the resilience and spirit they have shown here.”

It was a day filled with joy, proud smiles and meaningful reflections as students posed for photos with friends and family—one final celebration before taking their next steps.

📸 The photos featured in this post highlight our graduates from CPAS School (West).

Join us in congratulating all 2025 CPAS graduates—from CPAS School (East), CPAS School (West) and EIPIC! 🎉🎓

Last week, our Alumni from the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore (CPAS) Connect Alumni Programme had the incredible opportunity to perform at Singapore Pools in the Community's Football With A Heart Appreciation Golf and Dinner 2025! ⚽❤️ We are so thankful for this meaningful platform that allowed our alumni to shine, celebrate their talents, and share their joy with the community.

Established in October 2016, the CPAS Connect Alumni Programme aims to engage students and clients who have graduated from CPAS School or left the programmes under Adult Services. Through the provision of holistic services including activities, ad-hoc events and mentoring for employment, CPAS Connect provides opportunities for members to further develop their talents and skills.

Over $1.2 million was raised for seven beneficiaries, CPAS being one of them, and we are deeply grateful to have been part of such a meaningful event. Thank you, Singapore Pools and all corporate sponsors, for championing inclusion and giving our alumni a moment they will carry with them for a long time. ❤️

Just before the end of the school year, students from Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore School East (CPASS East) experienced a Stamp Making & Bag Printing Workshop together with volunteers from Changi General Hospital (CGH).

Mr Tan Qing Hang, one of the participants shared, “Partnering with Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore for this Co:creation workshop has been deeply meaningful. It was heartwarming to see the children enjoy creating their own designs and getting to know them more. Watching the students work so hard to express their creativity and ideas reminded us of the power of inclusion and shared learning. It helped us to see that different doesn't mean less. It just means you are extraordinary in your own way. We look forward to continued partnership in empowering the next generation"

Thank you to Changi General Hospital for the continued support and to Co:Creation Workshop for facilitating the session.

🎄✨ It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… ✨🎄

As the countdown to Christmas begins, let’s relive the magic of our recent Christmas celebration at the Tanglin Club.

Our students from the Early Intervention Programme for Infants and Children (EIPIC) kicked off the festive season with a heartwarming early Christmas party. 🌟

The evening’s highlight? A memorable vintage car ride down Orchard Road, thanks to the Malaysia & Singapore Vintage Car Register. Families were dazzled by the stunning Christmas lights, creating unforgettable memories. 🎅🚗

A huge thank you to Tanglin Club, the The Institution of Engineers, Singapore - IES, Singapore Airlines (Engineering Division), the MSVCR - Malaysia and Singapore Vintage Car Register and all our incredible supporters for making this day truly magical! ❤️

“That’s when I realised — my child has a voice.”

For years, Ms Sheryl Lee made every decision for her daughter, Jolee, who has multiple disabilities and is non-verbal. But with the support of teachers and therapists at Cerebral Palsy Alliance Singapore School (CPASS) West, Jolee learned to communicate — one tap at a time.

CPASS West is a double-session Special Education (SPED) school serving students with moderate to severe multiple disabilities.

We are proud to share our collaboration with Williams Sonoma as part of World Cerebral Palsy Month!

In addition to raising over $2000, the WSI Singapore team also created their very own teambuilding "Solve 2 Shop" event to raise groceries for donation to CPAS and another charity.

Here is how they did it: the team were divided into two roles - one as solvers to solve quiz questions to unlock groceries to buy, and the other as shoppers to buy the groceries at Jewel FairPrice Finest! The team graciously contributed a range of items such as tissues, cereals, wipes and biscuits to us!

What an innovative way to support us. Interested in collaborating with us? Visit https://cpas.org.sg/get-involved/ to find out more!

In celebration of Children’s Day last month, we embarked on a joyful first-ever outing to Bird Paradise with our little adventurers — accompanied by none other than Loomis Sayles Investments Asia & LEGO Singapore! 🐦🌈

It was a day filled with excitement and discovery, as children explored the vibrant world of birds, many of whom they were seeing for the very first time. From colourful parrots to majestic pelicans, every moment sparked wide-eyed wonder and delight.

Outings like these are more than just fun — they create lasting memories and open up new worlds for children who may not often get to experience places like this.

A big thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special! 💚
