While Karen Champion is away, Li Ling will be teaching Chair and Wall Yoga on select Thursday mornings instead. Li Ling uses the wall and the yoga chair as a tool to help you deepen, provide essential support and help you hold the poses for longer, so you receive the benefits of the pose. While it is a very supportive style of practice, it also challenges individuals in endurance and intensity. Join Li Ling to experience the freedom of practising with these useful tools. If you are new to mindfulness and would like to know more before joining a mindfulness course for your personal well being, this session provides information to help you decide how to get started.

In this session, you’ll be introduced to mindfulness, find out more about what mindfulness is (and isn’t!) and given a brief taster of a mindfulness practice or exercise. Space is provided for you to ask questions you may have about joining a mindfulness course. This is geared towards the 8-week Mindfulness for Life course led by Annie starting in October.

Feeling like you are in some aches and pains lately?

Yamuna® Body Rolling (YBR®) is a monthly special focused on self-massage, myofascial release and it's a gentle workout. A series of specially created balls become the hands of the therapist and the person’s own body weight creates the traction, movement and release on the ball. This workshop is for you if you spend hours sitting, are experiencing pain or stiffness, don’t feel like you have the same agility and functional mobility that you did before, or you wish to enjoy greater ease and comfort in your body.

If flow yoga is right up your alley and you love moving with music, this may be the right class for you. Led by Lalitha, Inside Flow is a energetic style of yoga which is an evolution of Vinyasa. It has different sequences with slow, fast, upbeat, relaxing songs starting from Hip Hop to pop music and practitioners move to a set sequence based on the music. You will flow from pose to pose, like a dance choreography, and eventually be able to move through a complete song by the end of the session. Be prepared to keep moving.
