Each day can bring heartache and chaos to Marlina Isa’s household, with two elderly parents and three school-going boys to look after. But with family pitching in and government initiatives providing support, her three-generation home is powering on with love.

Building bridges of care and compassion. 🤝

We had a truly meaningful morning with the wonderful team at St. Luke ElderCare, discussing how we can work together to support their residents and families.

Our goal is simple: to be a safety net and a source of calm during life’s most difficult transitions. By partnering with the dedicated medical social workers at St. Luke’s, we hope to provide seamless, pre-arranged support that offers everyone involved greater peace of mind. This allows families to focus entirely on being present with their loved ones, free from worry about the practicalities.

A huge thank you to the St. Luke ElderCare team for their warm welcome and for the vital work they do every day. We are inspired and ready to serve this community.

“Little by little, we let go of loss… but never of love.”

In the heart of our work as funeral professionals in Singapore, this phrase holds deep meaning. We see, day after day, how grief touches lives - not as something that disappears overnight, but as a process of gentle release. The pain of loss may slowly soften over time, but the love that remains is eternal.

In our multicultural society, where diverse traditions and rituals reflect different ways of honoring the departed, we are reminded that farewells are not about forgetting, but about remembering with grace. Whether it’s a Buddhist wake, a Christian service, or a Taoist ritual, the ceremonies speak not only to grief, but to enduring love - a love that survives beyond the final goodbye.

Our role is not just to manage funerals; it’s to create sacred spaces for remembrance, healing, and love. We walk alongside families as they begin the slow journey of letting go of the physical presence of someone dear - the conversations, the shared meals, the laughter. But what they hold onto, always, is the love. That does not fade.

This is the quiet truth we witness every day: grief changes, but love endures. And in every service we provide, we strive to honor both.

The day started like any other for 82-year-old Lau Sung Pong. He went missing for six days and was found on the roof of an HDB block.

They say it’s not death itself that’s the most painful… but what comes after it. The waking up. The empty side of the bed. The silence that once held laughter. The weight of remembering when the world insists you forget.

South Korean artist Koo Jun Yup is living through that ache. Every single day, he reportedly visits the grave of his late wife, Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu. Witnesses have described it as both touching and heartbreaking. And truly, what else could it be?

Reports also stated that he also looking for a house near the area.

This is not just a man grieving his wife. This is a man choosing love again and again, even when the person he loves is no longer here to hold his hand back.

It’s a love that doesn’t end with a funeral.

What Koo Jun Yup reminds us of is this:
keep living with all the love you still have to give.

May we all be blessed to love, and be loved, like that.
