Just the first gentle yes. A breath, a step, showing up exactly as you are today.

Getting started doesn’t have to be loud or brave. It can be a quiet resolve to do the things your heart has set out to accomplish for the year. It can be a slow but gradual build towards a new habit. It can be done with shaky hands and a soft heart, you just need to take the first step.

This year, we don’t wait to feel ready. We let movement create momentum. We let the body lead.

One small beginning is enough.

2026 is a fresh start. A new page. A new chance to dream again and to leave room for everything we can’t quite imagine yet.

As the new year begins, may you soften into possibility. May you trust in the timing of your own becoming. And may the new year meet you with gentleness, strength, and a little bit of magic.

I’m excited for what’s ahead, and I can’t wait to meet you on the mat soon.

Happy New Year!

As we welcome the season of festivities, may we take a quiet moment to honour everything this year has held: the lessons, the softening, the strength we didn’t know we had.

With the same full heart, may we step into what’s coming with openness and gratitude. A gentle yes to the unknown. A yes to healing, to growth, to breath, to movement.

Here’s to closing the year with intention, and inviting the next with steady, hopeful arms.

Prenatal Yoga Pose of the Week 🧘🏼‍♀️
✨ Crescent Side Stretch ✨

A soft side stretch can do wonders for your breath especially when your ribs and waist feel tight.

This pose lengthens the whole side body, opens the lungs, and creates more space for your breath.

Reach gently, keep the shoulders relaxed, and let each inhale expand the ribs. A little openness goes a long way.

As we close out the year, I’m reminded of how much can happen in twelve short months: the good, the hard, the unexpected, the parts that stretched us, and the moments that softened us.

But even in all of that, we still have our breath. We still have our movement. We still have each other.

May this week be a gentle pause; a chance to honour everything you’ve carried, everything you’ve grown through, and everything you’re slowly becoming.

Here’s to finding fullness in the simplest places, and remembering that gratitude is what brings us home to ourselves again.

Prenatal Yoga Pose of the Week 🧘🏼‍♀️
✨ Seated Figure-4 ✨
Today we’re taking a moment to release into the hips with Seated Figure-4: a simple, grounding shape that melts tension from long hours of sitting.

This pose supports circulation in the pelvis, eases lower-back tightness, and creates a little more space to breathe deeply. Keep your spine long, soften your shoulders, and let the breath widen the back body with every inhale. Let this feel like a gentle unwinding after a long day.

Make sure to take the same amount of time on both hips, in order for the body to be balanced.
If you would like an added stretch into the glutes, you can take this pose onto the floor, with the supporting knee bent. Keeping in mind always creating space for baby, the more stretch you would like into your glutes, the closer your bum will be to your heel.
