It comes and goes with life, posture, stress and everything in between.

You stop looking for miracles and start looking for management.

I have been seeing her for over a year now.
Used to be weekly. Now, monthly or Whenever my body needs support.

Severe scoliosis. Muscle imbalance. Tension that never fully leaves.

Before and after is not about being cured.
It is about feeling more balanced, less tense
and breathing easier in my own body.

I’m currently on my usual CNY break with my family, this time round in Fukuoka.

Thank you for all the well-wishes 🙏🏻 I’m a year older and definitely gained more insights.

2025 was a year where I had to grow, a lot of stepping out of my comfort zone. It was exceptionally fruitful.

I always like countries and places that are more outskirts and with a slower pace. The serenity forces you to slow down and look at things again from a different perspective.

Healing comes from within. You choose how you want to make your time worthwhile while you are still here in this space.

My birthday wish is for all to be blessed with health always. 🙏🏻

Sitting in a café this afternoon, reviewing notes, letting the body settle.

In traditional Thai healing, the body is never treated in isolation.
Pain is understood as stagnation — not weakness.

When breath becomes shallow, sleep shortens, and movement turns guarded, the body is signalling that its rhythm has been disrupted.

At PainFix, our work follows this principle.
We slow the system down first — through assessment, hands-on work, and regulation — before asking the body to change.

Healing happens when circulation returns, tension softens, and the nervous system feels safe enough to release.

This is not about pushing through pain.
It is about restoring flow so the body can recover on its own.

I’ve been quiet about this — but I’m honoured to finally share it.

I was invited by the founder of Appraisal at Present to contribute an article on Thai healing and what it really means to work well with the body.

This isn’t a piece about trends, quick fixes, or “feeling good”.
It’s about what I see every day in practice — people who are functioning, but tired; coping, but fragmented; doing everything “right”, yet still not feeling well.

In this article, I wrote about:
• why people rarely come asking to be well, only because something stopped working
• how pain, fatigue, and mental tension are often part of the same conversation
• what Thai medicine actually looks at — balance, flow, timing, and response — not just symptoms
• and why wellness isn’t a destination, but a practice of listening before the body has to shout

Traditional Thai healing is often misunderstood.
It’s not mystical.
It’s not passive.
It’s a way of seeing the body as a whole, and working with it rather than against it.

I’m grateful for the invitation to share this perspective, and I hope it gives language to something many of us feel but haven’t been able to name.
