Many see the use of a kitchen weighing scale to measure food portions as a step too far, the first step on a slippery slope down the path to unhealthy eating practices and eating disorders!
However, like with any tool, if used properly, even for just a short period, using a kitchen scale could actually set you up with knowledge and skills about food portions that you need to lose weight, get into shape and stay in shape for the rest of your life!
