Grateful for the opportunity to partner with National Healthcare Group & National Skin Centre on our recent Safe Space roadshow.

Working closely with their teams, here are 3 key things we learned:

1. Accessibility drives utilisation
Mental health support only works when it’s easy to access. Whether through mobile or desktop, enabling teams to book sessions seamlessly removes one of the biggest barriers to seeking help.

2. Personalisation matters more than ever
No two individuals experience mental health the same way. Having a structured yet simple matching system — from a quick survey to real-time therapist recommendations — ensures people get the right support, not just any support.

3. Variety in care approaches is critical
From CBT and DBT to mindfulness-based therapy, different approaches resonate with different needs. Offering a range of evidence-based options empowers individuals to choose what works best for them.

At Safe Space, we’re proud to support NHG by:
✔️ Providing a digital-first mental wellness platform for convenient access
✔️ Matching employees to the right therapists and coaches
✔️ Enabling fully subsidised sessions through corporate benefits

Because when support is accessible, personalised, and trusted — people actually use it.

Looking forward to continuing this journey with healthcare teams who are doing the important work of caring for others, while also taking care of themselves.

Grateful for the partnership and trust from Si Yao and Leonette 🌱

It’s been a meaningful journey working together with SUSS to bring mental health conversations closer to the workplace — from uWellness events to creating spaces where employees can start thinking more intentionally about their mental health.

What stood out most was the shared belief that mental health literacy isn’t a one-off initiative, but something that needs to be built consistently and thoughtfully.

Wishing both Si Yao and Leonette all the best in your next chapters — and thank you again for championing this work.

Safe Space will continue to support the SUSS team, and we look forward to building on what we’ve started together 🤝

We were saddened to learn that the Health Promotion Board, Singapore Workplace Outreach Wellness (WOW) Programme has come to a close.

Over the past few years, it has been a meaningful initiative—not just for vendors like us, but for the many organisations that were able to prioritise employee well-being through accessible, funded programmes.

At Safe Space, we’re especially grateful to have been part of this journey. Through WOW, we had the opportunity to support over 35 organizations with our lunch & learn sessions; creating space for honest conversations around mental health, resilience, and workplace culture.

Thank you to the Health Promotion Board team for your trust and for championing workplace wellness in such a tangible way. Programmes like WOW make a real difference in helping organisations take that first step.

We hope to continue supporting HPB in future initiatives, and remain committed to advancing healthier, more supportive workplaces across Singapore.

The Workplace Outreach Wellness (WOW) Programme suports all companies in their goal towards a healthier and more engaged workforce.

🌿 Lent 2026: A Season to Pause, Reflect, and Reset

Lent begins this week — a 40-day period traditionally observed as a time of reflection, renewal, and intentional living.

Whether you observe Lent spiritually or simply see it as an opportunity to reset, this season invites us to slow down and take an honest look at what we carry — mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.

Here are 5 ways to prepare yourself well:

1️⃣ Set an intention, not just a sacrifice.
Instead of only giving something up, ask: What do I want to build? Patience? Emotional regulation? Better boundaries?

2️⃣ Create space for quiet.
Even 10 minutes a day without screens or noise can help you reconnect with your thoughts.

3️⃣ Reflect on what drains you.
Notice patterns of stress, resentment, or burnout. Awareness is the first step toward change.

4️⃣ Practice small acts of discipline.
Consistent sleep, mindful eating, journaling, prayer, or meditation — small habits compound over 40 days.

5️⃣ Seek support when needed.
Reflection can surface difficult emotions. You don’t have to process them alone.

Lent is not about perfection. It’s about growth.

If this season brings up deeper conversations about your mental wellbeing, Safe Space is here to support you — whether through counselling, coaching, or guided workshops.

Let this be a season of intentional care. 🌱

🐯✨ 2026 Chinese Zodiac Mental Health Predictions ✨🐍

What’s written in the stars for your mind this year?

Let’s see what 2026 has in store for your mental wellbeing 👇

🐀 Rat
Big ideas, busy brain. 2026 is about slowing down your thoughts and focusing on one priority at a time. Mental clarity > multitasking.

🐂 Ox
You’ve been carrying a lot. This is your year to ask for support instead of powering through. Strength also means knowing when to rest.

🐅 Tiger
High drive, high expectations. Watch the self-criticism. Growth in 2026 comes from self-compassion, not pressure.

🐇 Rabbit
Sensitive and intuitive — but don’t absorb everyone else’s emotions. Boundaries will protect your peace this year.

🐉 Dragon
You’re aiming high. Just remember: burnout isn’t a badge of honour. Sustainable ambition is the real power move.

🐍 Snake
Deep thinker energy. 2026 is about expressing what you’ve been holding in. Talking it out will free up mental space.

🐎 Horse
Fast-paced year ahead. Build small daily rituals (sleep, movement, reflection) to stay grounded and steady.

🐐 Goat
Emotional growth year. Don’t avoid difficult conversations — they’ll lead to healthier relationships and lighter hearts.

🐒 Monkey
Busy social calendar? Make sure your “me time” is scheduled too. Joy is important, but so is recovery.

🐓 Rooster
Perfectionism alert. Done is better than perfect in 2026. Give yourself permission to be human.

🐕 Dog
You show up for everyone. This year, check in on yourself as consistently as you check in on others.

🐖 Pig
Comfort is your safe space — but growth lies just outside it. Try something new that stretches you mentally.

✨ Whether you believe in zodiac signs or not, one thing is certain:
Your mental health deserves attention in 2026.

If your team is looking to prioritise mental wellbeing this year, Safe Space partners with organisations across Asia to provide counselling, coaching and mental health programmes.

Let’s make 2026 the year we invest in minds, not just metrics.

🏮🐎 Welcoming the Year of the Horse – 2026 🐎🏮

As we step into the Year of the Horse, we reflect on what this symbol represents e.g strength, momentum, resilience, and purposeful progress.

At Safe Space, our hope for 2026 is not just that organisations move faster but that they move forward with intention.

We hope this year brings our clients and partners:

✨ The courage to prioritise mental wellbeing as a strategic advantage
✨ The stamina to build cultures where people can thrive — not just perform
✨ The clarity to lead with empathy and psychological safety
✨ The momentum to turn wellbeing commitments into measurable impact

The Horse reminds us that endurance matters. Sustainable growth — in business and in life — comes from caring for the people who power it.

Thank you for trusting us to walk alongside you in building healthier, more resilient workplaces across the region.

Here’s to a year of steady progress, strong partnerships, and minds that are supported every step of the way.

We’re proud to share that Antoinette Patterson, CEO of Safe Space, will be speaking at the Asia Pacific Entrepreneur Summit and Awards 2026, by EY.

She’ll be joining a panel on “The Talent Dividend — Building Human Capital for a Global Innovation Economy,” exploring how Asia Pacific can translate workforce advantage into innovation, resilience, and long-term competitiveness.

The discussion will cover:
• Aligning education and industry demand in practical ways
• Continuous learning and reskilling in high-pressure environments
• Building inclusive teams that make better decisions and drive growth

At Safe Space, we see every day that talent development and mental resilience are inseparable.

Sustainable innovation doesn’t come from exhausted teams — it comes from people who are supported, adaptable, and able to grow.

Better late than never, right? 😉
Our 2025 Wrapped is finally here.. a little fashionably late, but full of gratitude.
This year reminded us that building meaningful impact takes a village, and we’re incredibly thankful for ours.
To our clients who trust us with something deeply personal, our partners and advisors who challenge and guide us, and our team who show up every day with heart, grit, and purpose — thank you for believing in what we’re building at Safe Space™.
2025 wasn’t perfect, but it was powerful and we wouldn’t have it any other way. Onward into the next chapter!

80% of my clients come from one platform.’ Hearing this from a trainee therapist stopped us in our tracks.

We had a great turnout last night at The School of Positive Psychology— and even more meaningful 1:1 conversations with our COO, Lynette Seow. It was genuinely fun spending time with therapists at TSPP, hearing their questions, challenges, and hopes as they build their practices.

One moment that really stayed with us: a trainee therapist shared (unprompted!) that around 80% of her clients come through Safe Space™ and that the platform has been a huge support in helping her grow sustainably while focusing on client care. Hearing her rave about this to her classmates was incredibly affirming.

This is exactly why we do what we do — to make it easier for the growing number of therapists to be discoverable, supported, and able to do their best work. We will take care of the rest.

Grateful for the energy, the honesty, and the community. 💙

January often exposes what wasn’t resolved last year. The calendar changes, deadlines return, and pressure resumes, but nervous systems don’t reset overnight. Founders feel this tension deeply as they’re expected to set direction while sensing their teams are already stretched.

This month isn’t about pushing energy that isn’t there. It’s about holding steady and setting boundaries that prevent further depletion.

If you’re feeling this pressure as a founder or business leader, DM us.

We can talk through what grounded leadership looks like when energy is low.

✨ Joy that feels steady, not fleeting
✨ Growth that’s gentle, not forced
