Star confinement agency has good response speed when i needed a confinement nanny last min. I contacted them about 2 weeks before i had my c section delivery due to unforeseen circumstances. Winnie was quick to respond and managed to find me a few profiles for my consideration. After much consideration and also recommendation by the agency, I picked Auntie Yu Er (Liang Yok Ngoh 239) gold tier nanny for my second confinement this time round.
Auntie Yu Er was a good fit for my family and I am indeed lucky to be able to have her taking care of me for my confinement. She has a very good temperament and a very gentle disposition. For a second time mummy, she would share how she takes care of babies and mummies usually and seeks my opinion on whether that's okay with me. She is a very good cook and takes very good care of mummy for recovery. For example, she would boil red bean soup without me asking, to reduce water retention issues when she noticed i had water retention after my c sect delivery. She is also very encouraging in my breastfeeding journey and gave me suggestions on how to make myself feel better or have more milk. Always giving positive vibes.
She was very hands on with my newborn baby and made sure I had every opportunity to rest especially during the first few weeks. She would always talk to my newborn in a super calm and soothing manner and he would always calm down quickly whenever she carries him. She would also wake up dutifully for middle of the night feeds and also check on baby constantly whenever he stirs or makes some noise so I felt at ease to leave him in her good hands. I extended her for 2 more weeks (total 6 weeks) after my first week with her as i was in love with her cooking and also saw how she took care of my newborn as well as bonded with my toddler (2 yo).
As an experienced baby sitter for many years even before being a confinement nanny in SG, she knows how to handle not just newborns but also toddlers very well. Recommended for second time mummies especially. My toddler loves her so much and will always look for her to play.
We will definitely miss her when she leaves.

I decided to engage Star Confinement’s confinement nanny service through a friend’s recommendation.
I feel incredibly lucky to have had Lan Ren Mei (ST-300) as my confinement nanny.

As a first-time mum, I was honestly very worried at the beginning about encountering an unprofessional or unsuitable nanny—especially after reading so many scary experiences online. But from the moment she arrived at our home, I could feel her professionalism and calm presence. I instantly felt that she would be a great help, and I was absolutely right!

She’s not only professional, but also highly experienced in both newborn care and postpartum nutrition. From day one, my baby was in good hands—she showed so much love and patience, and I could fully trust her with my little one.

What I really appreciate is her attention to hygiene. She always washes her hands and keeps herself clean before handling the baby, which gave me great peace of mind. And her cooking skills are fantastic—she prepared a wide variety of nutritious confinement meals every day, including soups, main dishes, and even desserts. She even made dumplings from scratch! It honestly felt like having a personal chef who specialises in confinement care.

What touched me even more was how she always cleaned the kitchen thoroughly after cooking and kept everything neat and tidy. She also took the initiative to help with light housework like sweeping and mopping—something we really appreciated.

She has a cheerful and optimistic personality, and chatting with her every day was always pleasant. As first-time parents, we learned so many practical tips from her about taking care of our baby. Before she left, she even wrote down a list of baby care tips for us—such a thoughtful gesture.

Her time with us is coming to an end, and we are genuinely reluctant to see her go. Ren Mei has been a true blessing during our confinement period, and we are so thankful for everything she has done for our family.
