Sharing the positive experience I had with nanny Chai Siew Yoon (ST257). She was very caring and patient, ensuring that my newborn is well taken care of. She had everyone in the family appreciating her for the level of care she provided to me and more importantly, to my newborn girl. By the end of the engagement, it was clear our girl liked her too!

From the first day she arrived, Siew Yoon’s skills and experience shone and we could tell she truly cared for our girl. She keeps close watch on schedule and also has the ability to understand what our girl wanted through her actions and cries. She was able to easily tell if our girl was hungry, sleepy or wanted her diapers changed, ensuring that our girl was comfortable. She also often takes initiative to help with our girl’s development. This includes ensuring that every day, she had regular tummy time to help develop her neck muscles and speaking to her often to start getting her to use her vocals.

Outside of taking care of our girl, Siew Yoon was a very easy-going person and settled easily into our home. She got along well with our family members and made sure to take our concerns into consideration, not imposing any traditional methods of care that we may not be comfortable with. She also imparted knowledge and tips to us and our family members so that we know what to look out for.

With Siew Yoon taking care of our girl, we were always at ease while we had plenty of rest. We are extremely grateful for what she has done for us. Having her around really helped made the “4th trimester” very smooth!
