I LOVE Ljubljana! A perfect city in which to conclude an amazing trip! There’s a surprise around every corner, the people were wonderful and the energy of the city was amazing. From the castle on the hill in the middle of the city, to the old town, to Metelkova with all of its crazy art, to the Central market with its crazy food/party scene, this was an amazing few days. Top it all off with time spent with my girl reading by the river, playing cards, getting lost, and then found again: it was a perfect end to perfect trip!

Ljubljana’s street art deserves it’s own post. It’s everywhere, it’s beautiful and the photos do not do it justice!

Fair Verona! We loved this quiet, beautiful little city, full of Roman arenas, theatres and other ruins. Plus the food is amazing and cheap; we ate soooo much. And stood on Juliet’s balcony. And explored castles and castle walls. And climbed ALL the stairs to watch the sunset over the city. Then ate more; the food needs its own post.

Happy birthday to my hiking companion/ gym buddy/ yoga student/ social media czar/ reading accomplice/ foodie friend/ oldest daughter/ snuggliest child! What an amazing year you have had; graduating, joining the work force, travelling and just all round killing your first year as an adult!
