Young Neuroscientist Forum Ljubljana '13 (YNFL'13) is an introductory event into SiNAPSA Neuroscience Conference '13 (SNC'13; September 27-29, 2013, Ljubljana, Slovenia). To capitalize on the presence of outstanding scientists gathering at the SNC'13, the YNFL'13 will be organized as an introductory event of SNC'13. YNFL'13 will provide young neuroscientists at the beginning of their career with an opportunity to present their work, receive invaluable feedback, listen to eminent speakers, look into job opportunities, establish working relationships, and build friendships. Participants with accepted abstracts will present their work in the form of poster presentations. Authors of best accepted abstracts will be given an opportunity to present their work in a talk during a student symposium. Wide area of research topics will be covered, from molecular and cellular to systems neuroscience and clinical research. The outline of the YNFL'13 programme:

• 08:30 – 10:30 Student symposium
• 10:30 – 11:00 Opening of the SiNAPSA Neuroscience Conference '13
• 11:00 – 12:00 A.O. Župančič Memorial lecture
• 12:00 – 13:30 Lunch by the posters (YNFL’13 and SNC’13)
• 13:30 – 19:00 Student presentations by the posters/attendance of SNC’13 lectures in conference rooms next to Poster area
• 20:00 – 00:00 YNFL13 social event
Online registration is now open. Early registration deadline is July 15, 2013. An early/late registration fee of 50/70 € for undergraduate students and 70/90 € for graduate students will cover participation at the YNFL'13. It will also cover the entrance fee for the plenary lectures, thematic symposia and the placebo workshop at the SNC'13! Please find further information on the SNC'13 Registration page. A rich social program will accompany scientific sessions. There will be opportunities to socialize by the posters, and following the conference programme, together with senior neuroscientists and separately also only with peers. The official language of the YNFL'13 is English. Abstract submission deadline is extended to July 15th, 2013. Please use the SNC'13 Abstract Submission page to submit your abstract. A small number of stipends will be awarded to eligible active SNC'13/YNFL'13 participants. The deadline for application was June 15th, 2013.
