Listening to your heart can be a very good practice when you feel lost in all your failures and stress. Hearing your heartbeat and asking yourself,
"What do I really need right now?"
can be surprisingly revealing. It's about getting back to the roots of yourself and honoring what you find.
When you’re going through a rough patch, ask yourself, "What would I say to a friend in this situation?" Be that kind, understanding friend to yourself. And the people you surround yourself with, they should give you support and a shoulder to cry on. But don't forget, your friends are NOT your therapist! Expecting the same from them would be very bad for your relationships.
Building resilience is about embracing the lessons, staying true to yourself, being kind to yourself, choosing your people wisely, and focusing on the process of growth. And remember, it's perfectly okay to ask for help along the way.
