One year ago these 10 people took the stage and saw what they have created. Gathered within the walls of our university, a small group of students banded together with a shared goal: to bring an EPSA event back to Slovenia. What started as a professional endeavor blossomed into genuine friendship. In this past year, life led us down diverse paths — parenthood, marriage, career beginnings — yet, our bond endured, marked by reunions every first Friday in a month. We owe a debt of gratitude to our university, faculty, partners and European colleagues for their support and trust in our vision. Your unwavering encouragement kept us going. Together, we achieved what sometimes seemed impossible. Reflecting on our journey, it’s clear: it’s not just about the event, but the enduring all connections we’ve forged along the way. Thank you 🫶

Reception Committee and Helping Team visited Pharmaceuticals site in Lendava on Friday, 26th of May. We had a chance to see the packaging line for solid pharmaceuticals and the production of antibiotics. HR department also presented career opportunities to us and gave some directions for the job interview. We thank Lek, a Sandoz company for this experience and hope to collaborate with Lek also in the future.

Who knows, even though this is meant to put your soft skills to trial and give you useful feedback on how to improve them, you might do so well that the company will show interest in collaborating with you immediately.

Career fair is the event which will take place on Friday. 10 multinational companies will have a booth, where their employees will present a company.

Career fair allows job seekers to find more about job openings at potential employers and more about the company’s vision and focus.

Don't forget to bring your CVs with you, this will make an excellent first impression. You will be able to print your CV at the venue for free.
Another advice: collect contacts from employees at booths and save them for any future questions about job opportunities in this company.

Career breakfast is a career development activity, which will be held as a workshop. It will happen on Thursday and Friday morning.

Every day different European pharmaceutical company will present itself.

In the first part, a company will place its booth in the restaurant and every participant will be able to approach employees of this company.

In the second part, you will be able to participate in their workshops on 1st slot of the day.
Company representatives will present career opportunities and then enable you to present yourself in 1 on 1 conversation.

This is a perfect opportunity to meet your future employers, so don’t miss it!

Why have we chosen »Neurodegenerative diseases: Interprofessional collaboration for patient's welfare.« as the topic for the event?

Continuing education is essential in keeping up with the latest developments in the field, including new drugs and treatment options for various diseases, including neurodegenerative diseases.

It is also important for pharmacists to collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and physical therapists, to provide comprehensive care to patients with neurodegenerative diseases. By working together, healthcare professionals can improve patient outcomes, reduce costs, and improve job satisfaction for themselves and their colleagues.

As healthcare continues to evolve, healthcare professionals must embrace a collaborative approach to care and work together to meet the complex needs of patients.
