A new week begins… a fresh chance to pause, reflect, and be inspired.
Hildegard said: “Wisdom is the origin of good works when man worships his God wisely.”
Wisdom… such a powerful gift. In the Bible, King Solomon asked God for only one thing—not riches, not power, not fame—but wisdom to guide his people. God was so pleased with this request that He gave Solomon wisdom beyond measure… and with it, blessings of wealth and honor too.
When you face challenges, remember this: if you ask God for wisdom with a humble heart, He will grant it to you—guiding you through whatever stands before you.
💫 May this week be filled with clarity, strength, and the quiet assurance that God walks with you.

Začína nový týždeň... nová príležitosť na zastavenie sa, zamyslenie a inšpiráciu.
Hildegarda povedala: „Múdrosť je zdrojom dobrých skutkov, keď človek múdro uctieva svojho Boha.“
Múdrosť... taký mocný dar. V Biblii kráľ Šalamún požiadal Boha len o jednu vec – nie o bohatstvo, nie o moc, nie o slávu – ale o múdrosť, aby mohol viesť svoj ľud. Boh bol s touto prosbou tak spokojný, že dal Šalamúnovi múdrosť nad mieru... a spolu s ňou aj požehnanie bohatstva a cti.

Keď čelíš výzvam, pamätaj na toto: ak si pokorná srdcom požiadaj Boha o múdrosť, On ti ju udelí – a bude Ťa viesť cez všetko, čo Ti stojí v ceste.

💫 Nech je tento týždeň naplnený jasnosťou, silou a tichou istotou, že Boh kráča s Tebou.

Today a nice quote from Hildegard. I love this quote..the power of the soul can be seen in the eyes of man... as it says a lot about each person. When you look into someone's eyes, you will see the power of his soul. There are people with warmth in their eyes as well as those, whose eyes display other feelings and opinions. We always feel well when we meet those with warmth as it warms our souls. Do you also belong to this group?
Dnes pekný citát od Hildegardy. Milujem tento citát..v očiach človeka je vidieť sila duše...ako veľa hovorí o každom človeku. Keď sa niekomu pozriete do očí, uvidíte silu jeho duše. Sú ľudia s teplom v očiach, ako aj tí, ktorých oči zobrazujú iné pocity a názory. Vždy sa cítime dobre, keď stretneme tých, ktorí sú vrúcni, pretože nás to hreje na duši. Patríte do tejto skupiny aj vy?

September is here and let´s hear what Hildegard has to say about this month: “this month is a season of ripening. The terrible storms are gone and we are finding a solid blend of cold and warmth. It is a season in which prosperity is becoming visible, nature is inviting us to the harvest. So is the person born in this month. He naturally avoids all quarrels, but also boisterousness, he is rather a balanced type, whose special feature is patience. This virtue is also what again and again stabilizes the mental life of this person and gives him a certain direction in life.” Do you have anyone around you born in this month? Can you relate? September je tu a pozrieme sa na to,čo nám hovorí sv.Hildegarda o tomto mesiaci. „Tento mesiac je obdobím dozrievania. Strašné búrky sú preč a my nachádzame pevnú zmes chladu a tepla. Je to obdobie, v ktorom sa zviditeľňuje prosperita, príroda nás pozýva na žatvu. Rovnako aj človek narodený v tomto mesiaci. Prirodzene sa vyhýba všetkým hádkam, ale aj bujarosti, je to skôr vyrovnaný typ, ktorého osobitnou črtou je trpezlivosť. Táto cnosť je tiež tým, čo znovu a znovu stabilizuje duševný život tohto človeka a dáva mu určitý životný smer.“ Máš v okolí niekoho narodeného v tento mesiac? Sedí táto charakteristika? A new week begins… and I found myself pausing on these words from Hildegard:
✨ “For where the fear of the Lord is rooted, there also shines the wisdom of the human spirit.”
This line really stopped me. Hildegard suggests that true wisdom flows from a heart rooted in reverence for God. In other words—when we place our deepest trust in Him, wisdom is given as a gift in return.
It’s a reminder that faith and wisdom walk hand in hand. When we lean into God with awe, trust, and humility, we begin to see life with clearer eyes.
So as we step into this new week, let’s carry this thought with us: deepen your faith… and let wisdom grow from it.

Začína nový týždeň... a ja som sa zamyslela nad týmito slovami Hildegardy:
„Lebo tam, kde je zakorenená bázeň pred Pánom, tam žiari aj múdrosť ľudského ducha.“

Táto veta ma naozaj zastavila. Hildegarda naznačuje, že skutočná múdrosť pramení zo srdca zakoreneného v úcte k Bohu. Inými slovami – keď vkladáme svoju najhlbšiu dôveru do Neho, múdrosť je nám daná ako dar na oplátku.

Je to pripomienka, že viera a múdrosť idú ruka v ruke. Keď sa s úctou, dôverou a pokorou opierame o Boha, začíname vidieť život jasnejšími očami.
Keď teda vstupujeme do tohto nového týždňa, vezmime si so sebou túto myšlienku: prehĺbte svoju vieru... a nech z nej vyrastie múdrosť.

A new week is here… and I’m reminded of Hildegard’s words:
“The spirit disciplines the will and desire.”
God placed His spirit within us to guide our choices. We hear it. We know it. But… do we always follow?
The easy things—sure. The hard things—that’s where faith gets tested. Those are the moments we do our part… and then trust God with the rest.
This week, may you find the courage to do the hard things—and the faith to leave them in His hands.

Začal sa nový týždeň... a ja si spomínam na slová sv.Hildegardy:
„Duch disciplinuje vôľu a túžbu.“
Boh vložil svojho ducha do nás, aby nás viedol pri našich rozhodnutiach. Počujeme to. Vieme to. Ale... vždy to dodržiavame?
Ľahké veci – samozrejme. Ťažké veci – tam sa overuje naša viera. To sú momenty, keď urobíme svoju časť... a potom zveríme zvyšok Bohu.
Nech tento týždeň nájdeš odvahu robiť ťažké veci – a vieru, aby si ich nechala v Jeho rukách.
