It is with deep sorrow and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved elder, Joseph Kobba, affectionately known as "Edante".

A man of quiet strength and enduring faith, Joseph overcame many of life’s challenges with grace and resilience. Through every trial, he held firmly to his trust in God, remaining faithful until his final breath.

His humility, and unwavering spirit will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him. Though we grieve, we are comforted in knowing he rests peacefully in the arms of the Almighty.
Further details regarding the funeral arrangements will be shared in due course. Please keep the family in your prayers during this time of mourning.

May his soul rest in perfect peace.😭

This Mental Health Month, our theme, "Turn Awareness into Action," calls us to move beyond recognizing the importance of mental health and actively take steps to support ourselves and others. Awareness is the first vital step, but true progress happens when we translate that knowledge into meaningful actions—whether it's reaching out to a friend in need, advocating for better mental health resources, or fostering a more understanding and compassionate community. By turning awareness into action, we can break down stigma, promote early intervention, and create a world where everyone feels empowered to prioritize their mental well-being. Let's commit to transforming understanding into impact and making a tangible difference in lives around us.

Recently I stopped sharing my little -little strides, involments, and transformative change I make in my community. I got scared of how bitter people can go to any length to limit you. Their level of bitterness clouds their minds therefore, they don't think correctly in my opinion. Some holds the belief that growth is just a mere word when it comes to the individual that they don't like/despise. In their heads, you remain who they used to know, and since that brings them comfort, they feel very disturbed when they see posts like this (I'm networking, pushing myself, healing, serving, empowering, etc). They make calls, create connections with your network, and more. In efforts to sabotage you and bring you down.
But here's my motivation according to Aldous Huxley, an English writer and philosopher ( 1894-1963) "Unlike the masses, intellectuals have a taste for rationality and interest in facts. Their critical habit of mind makes them resistant to the kind of propaganda that works so well on the majority". Those who choose to listen to propaganda , believe and allow themselves to be recruited against a poor woman who refused to be held and defined by her past👆. Additional, I leave haters for God's judgement!

Having expressed my experience, Ladies and gentle men I kindly present to you our esteemed champions 💪. Please join me congratulate these transformative change makers.
Congratulations champions 🎉.

INTERNATIONAL WOMEN'S DAY!

ARMeD Victims SL - Joins the global call to these urgent needs 👇🏽:

Action for gender equality
Women and Girls to Prioritize Their Mental Health as Much as Their Human Rights!

Every day, women and girls around the world are facing challenges that are hardly imagined. From systemic inequality to gender-based violence, from limited access to education to harmful cultural practices, our human rights are violated in ways that continue to hold us back/slow us down, not only physically, but mentally as well. The impact on our mental health is profound, and it's high time the world recognize that the mental health of women and girls is not a secondary issue, it is fundamental to our human rights and dignity.

Mental health, though often neglected, is the cornerstone of overall well-being. For women and girls, the pressure to conform to societal standards, to battle through discrimination and violence, to silence our voices in a world that tells us our worth is less than others, can lead to deep mental scars. Depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other mental health struggles often emerge, leaving us vulnerable and overlooked. We must challenge the systems that perpetuate inequality and silence. We must raise awareness that mental health is not just a personal issue, it's a human rights issue. Women and girls deserve the right to be heard, to live without fear, and we must pursue our dreams in a world that supports our mental and emotional health. But there’s more, we can no longer afford to treat mental health as an afterthought. It is not enough to address physical rights, such as access to education or economic opportunities. Mental health care must be integrated into every conversation, every policy, every effort to empower women and girls. We need comprehensive mental health services that are accessible, culturally sensitive, and geared toward the specific struggles that women and girls face. Our rights are not just about
