🎉 Great News for Connaught Hospital! 🎉

Connaught Hospital has just achieved full accreditation from the West African Postgraduate College of Pharmacists—a landmark achievement and a proud moment for Sierra Leone’s healthcare sector!

This milestone is a reflection of the growing standards of excellence in clinical pharmacy training and practice at the hospital. It paves the way for the training of future pharmacy specialists right here in Sierra Leone, reducing the need to go abroad and strengthening local capacity in pharmaceutical care, research, and leadership.

Under the transformational leadership of Dr. Mark Kapuwa, this accreditation highlights a broader vision of making Connaught a true center of excellence—not only in surgery and medicine, but also in the critical, often under-recognized domain of pharmacy. Dr. Kapuwa’s commitment to systems strengthening, education, and quality assurance continues to uplift the institution and its service to the nation.

This is more than an institutional win—it’s a national victory for healthcare advancement in West Africa! 🌍💊
