How do you stay raw working a fulltime job? I want to say : it’s easy. But the truth is it took me many years to get a rhythm in planning and eating.
My pitfalls were:
- buying not enough fruit in advance.
- eating not enough fruit
- being scared of having not enough with me
- eating too complicated or to many dishes.
- defining stress as hunger
- not knowing how much calories are in different foods.
How I overcome these pitfalls:
- I buy 2 time a week my fruit and veggies on the market.
- I check every day what fruit is ripe or not.
- I take 2 fruit meals and 1 veggie meal to work with me. Each 800 kcal fruit and 500 veggies with dressing.
- I have spare supply of dates with me
- I have anti stress food with me, like carrot, apple or cucumbers.
- at my free time I go all the way with beautiful recipes with dehydrator or time consuming recipes like sushi.
- I do mental work to gain trust and confidence
- I go outside in nature to relax.
Doing it often creates healthy habits.
I don’t beat myself up if it didnot go perfect. But try to get back to the routine every time. Preparation is key.
