Ururka Samafalka Ee Tawfiiq

Background of the organization Tawfiiq is a local organization that works in humanitarian and development of different sections of the society. The organization was established on July 23rd 2009, by Ms Basra Jirde and has been working for 4 years now, and is now based in Borama. The Tawfiiq organization works generallyin all Somaliland regions. Purpose of Tawfiiq Tawfiiq takes part in all development and voluntary activities. Tawfiiq organization emphasizes how to support the people in (economic) difficulties and the overall development of the country. Tawfiiq organization also finds aid in other countries for individuals if they are in need, and cannot be helped in Somalia. Who they help Tawfiiq helps: People with illnesses (Dhimirka) Orphans (Agoonta) The disabled (Curyaminta) And the poor and vulnerable (Masakinta) The basic survival need that they all require is food, shelter/homes and clothing. This is the very basic that a human needs and there are many back home that don’t have that. The next vital factors they require are for example people with illnesses need medication, care and places to look after them. Orphans require homes, care and education so that they can learn life skills to take care of themselves when they grow. People with disabilities need disability equipment and training to manage with their disability so that they can live more easily. And poor people require help with finding shelter, education & training, and support for their children. How they manage the task There are many factors involved in which our people needsupport in and we need to spread the word and make more people aware of the issues. Tawfiiq does great work in helping people with many of these things, but they need our help in order to carry on doing that. Future aims: In the next few years insha allah by working very hard let’s hope to have many improvements established in our homeland that will benefit our people greatly such as: having the right medicine and treatment available for people with mental illnesses Building centres/facilities for the care of people with mental illnesses Having physiotherapy facilities for people with disability Build shelters for the homeless Starting a foster system for orphans Funding and scholarships for children & youth How you can HELP NOW! So that Tawfiiq organisation can further develop and improve and work to achieving more great opportunities for our people. Please start by giving what you can.
