"According to Psychologists, there are four types of Intelligence:

1) Intelligence Quotient (IQ)
2) Emotional Quotient (EQ)
3) Social Quotient (SQ)
4) Adversity Quotient (AQ)

1. Intelligence Quotient (IQ): this is the measure of your level of comprehension. You need IQ to solve maths, memorize things, and recall lessons.

2. Emotional Quotient (EQ): this is the measure of your ability to maintain peace with others, keep to time, be responsible, be honest, respect boundaries, be humble, genuine and considerate.

3. Social Quotient (SQ): this is the measure of your ability to build a network of friends and maintain it over a long period of time.

People that have higher EQ and SQ tend to go further in life than those with a high IQ but low EQ and SQ. Most schools capitalize on improving IQ levels while EQ and SQ are played down.

A man of high IQ can end up being employed by a man of high EQ and SQ even though he has an average IQ.

Your EQ represents your Character, while your SQ represents your Charisma. Give in to habits that will improve these three Qs, especially your EQ and SQ.

Now there is a 4th one, a new paradigm:

4. The Adversity Quotient (AQ): The measure of your ability to go through a rough patch in life, and come out of it without losing your mind.

When faced with troubles, AQ determines who will give up, who will abandon their family, and who will consider su***de.

Parents please expose your children to other areas of life than just Academics. They should adore manual labour (never use work as a form of punishment), Sports and Arts.

Develop their IQ, as well as their EQ, SQ and AQ. They should become multifaceted human beings able to do things independently of their parents.

Finally, do not prepare the road for your children. Prepare your children for the road."

Lumpy skin disease is an infectious, eruptive, occasionally fatal disease of cattle characterized by nodules on the skin and other parts of the body. Secondary bacterial infection often aggravates the condition. Traditionally, lumpy skin disease is found in southern and eastern Africa, but in the 1970s it extended northwest through the continent into subSaharan west Africa. Since 2000, it has spread to several countries of the Middle East and in 2013 extended west into Turkey and several countries in the Balkans. More recently, outbreaks of lumpy skin disease were reported for the first time in Georgia, Russia, Bangladesh, and the People's Republic of China. The recent geographic spread of lumpy skin disease has caused international concern. The disease has not been recorded in the Western hemisphere or in Australia or New Zealand.

*Haemonchus* vs *Fasciola*

*Aneamia* and *bottle jaw* are common two signs of Haemonchosis & Fasciola # but, *characteristic edema* is noticed in haemonchosis ie i *widespread subcutaneous edema* & it is *most striking in submandibular soft tissues*

Heat Detection in Cow 🐄🐮

1)Cows coming into heat (duration 6-10 hours)

*Will not stand to be ridden
*Smell other cows
*Attempt to ride other cows
*Display a moist, red, and slightly swollen v***a
*Are restless and bellow

2) Cows in heat (duration 2-30 hours - average 15 hours)

*Stand to be ridden
*hair and skin rubbed of crest of tail
*Are nervous, excitable, and restless
*May ride other cows
*May stand with back arched and tail in air *Spend less time than usual grazing
*Display moist, red v***a
*Clear mucus discharge from v***a
*May hold milk
*Frequently change from their usual order coming into the shed - often lead the herd from the paddock or lag behind

3) Cows after heat

*Will not stand to be ridden
*Smell other cows
*Clear mucus discharge from v***a

*Sarcoptic mange* vs *Psoroptic mange*

for field Vets # *Tentative diagnostic tip* ( Skin scrapings confirmation is mandatory )

In Sarcoptic mange # Skin is *thickened* and *wrinkled* @ *no Scab formation* .. found mostly on *non-wooly parts* like muzzle, lips, nostrils and ears

On scratching due to irritation # *crusts* formed due to inflammation ..................................................
In Psoroptic mange # *thick, heavy Scab is formed* @ *no thickening and wrinkling of skin*
In *early phase*, can find a zone of inflammation with small vesicles and serious exudate

All wooly/hairy parts affected ( mostly around shoulders and body of wooled ) .. In hairy sheep # seen along back , sternum, dorsal part of tail

Note : *There is a possibility of mixed infestation*
