World Tuberculosis (TB) Day observed annually on March 24th, amplifies the urgency of ending tuberculosis – the world’s deadliest infectious disease. ⁠

The World Health Organisation (WHO) estimates that each day, over 3,400 people lose their lives to TB and close to 30,000 people fall ill with this preventable and curable disease. ⁠

On March 12th, our Director of Climate Change & Adaptation Mr. Abdinajib Hassan took part in a vital consultation workshop on "Conserving Terrestrial and Marine Biodiversity and Restoring Ecosystem Services in Globally Relevant and Vulnerable Sites in Somalia."

Organized by the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change, Federal Republic of Somalia, this workshop brought together key stakeholders to discuss strategies for protecting biodiversity, strengthening ecosystem resilience, and addressing climate challenges.
