Khaman Maluach signs $ 6 million NBA contract with Phoenix Suns
South Sudan’s fast-rising Basketball star, Khaman Maluach, signed his first NBA contract with the Phoenix Suns on Monday.
He will make $6,016,080 next season and a total of $27.4 million across his first four years in the NBA, according to Spotrac.
The number 10 NBA Draft 2025 pick was one of the primary assets the Suns received from Houston in their blockbuster Kevin Durant deal. While Maluach was widely expected to come off the board in the top eight picks on June 24, he slipped to No. 10, allowing Phoenix to nab its potential center of the future.
Khaman Maluach is the youngest-ever South Sudanese selected in the NBA.
