The recent signed agreement between Gen Akech Tong and SPLM IO- Kitwang in Port sudan does not violate the 2018 revitalize peace agreement as claimed by SPLM IO under leadership of Dr Riek Machar.
SPLM - IO Kitwang is committed for peaceful resolution to the conflict in our country as the suffering of our fellows south Sudanese persist despite previous signed agreement, we opts to signed this peace to charter our country forward not undermining the previously signed agreement by others opposition parties.
Additionally, Splm- IO lead by 1st vice president should understand that holdout groups are citizen of south sudan and every one has right to reaches consensus with Government under leadership of H.E Salva Kiir Madardit, inorder to stabilize the security in our country ,we need to put aside our political interest, differences and focusing on maintaining security and solving this economic crisis for our civil population to strive and proudly enjoying peace in the country, our youths are armed all over south sudan, and killing themselves day and night its a hurting this is a time to finding a solution to all this, and it's important for SPLM IO-Kitwang to be apart of a solution to pressing issues south sudanese are undergoes, by working together under leadership of president Slave Kirr .
Lastly, SPLM- IO Kitwang leadership wanted to assured our citizens that we are not against or breaching to revitalize any peace agreement as claimed by Office of 1st vice president, that the port Sudan signed agreement undermine previous revitalize peace of 2028 they said , is not true our objective is stabilize the security in country and our people live peaceful, SPLM -IO Kitwang under leadership Lt . General Simon Gatwech Dual Hoth ,is certainly will play significant roles for bringing peace to south Sudan.
