Governor Mujung Issues Gubernatorial Order Suspending Demarcation of Road-40 In Joppa

‎Juba, 14 July 2025 (CESGPU) - H.E. Lt. Gen. Rabi Mujung Emmanuel, the Governor of Central Equatoria State issued Gubernatorial Order No. 01/2025 for the Suspension of Demarcation Activities and Allotment of Road-40 (Shari Arubeyin) which runs from East to West through Jopa connecting Blocks 3,4,6 & 7 to Gurei Residential Area, Juba County of Central Equatoria State.

‎The Commissioner of Juba County is directed to take necessary steps to implement the order by suspending the ongoing activities in the area with immediate effect from the date of Monday, 14th of July 2025.

Blaming specific individuals without considering the broader context can lead to further division and hinder efforts to address the root causes of the problem.

We must strive to promote unity, understanding, and tolerance. By fostering a culture of dialogue and respect, we can work together to overcome the challenges facing our nation. It's essential to critically evaluate information and avoid spreading rumors or misinformation.

Let us focus on building a future based on peace, justice, and prosperity. By working together, we can overcome the obstacles and create a better future for South Sudan.

The Perils of Envy in South Sudan Business World

In my 4 years business adventure in south sudan i came to realize that Envy of my fellow colleagues in government and business was the main reason behind their continued attempts assassinate my character and to distroy my business and investment starting from frustrating the Juba City Council E tax project to the Engineering Services which reshape the city to what its today, so I decided to write this short article about Envy in the business world in which its a complex emotion rooted in a perceived lack, can be a destructive force in the business world. While it may seem like a harmless emotion, it can lead to negative consequences for both individuals and organizations.

The Dangers of Envy

Eny can Stunted your Growth When we focus on what others have, we may neglect our own potential. Envy can hinder our progress as we become preoccupied with comparing ourselves to others rather than focusing on our own journey. It can also damage relationships as envy can erode relationships with colleagues, clients, and partners. It can lead to gossip, backstabbing, and a toxic work environment, as we can see clearly in government institutions, which reduce productivity and decrease creativity by diverting attention from work to negative thoughts and feelings. It can also lead to a lack of motivation and a decrease in job satisfaction.

Envy can easily lead to ethical compromises. In extreme cases, envy can lead to unethical behaviour, such as sabotage, theft, or fraud.

How you can overcome Envy

To mitigate the negative effects of envy, practice gratitude, and focus on what you have rather than what you lack. Gratitude can shift your perspective and foster a more positive mindset. Also Set Realistic Goals by setting achievable goals and celebrating your accomplishments, no matter how small. This can boost your self-esteem and reduce feelings of inadequacy. Try to learn from Others, instead of envying others, using their success as inspiration. Learn from their strategies and apply them to your own business.

Its important to Focus on Your Strengths, identify your unique strengths and talents, and leverage them to achieve your goals. Invest in Building Strong Relationships, Cultivate positive relationships with colleagues, clients, and mentors. Strong relationships can provide support and encouragement.

Let's be honest while we are looking inside ourselves while recognizing the dangers of envy and taking steps to overcome it, you can create a more positive and productive work environment. Remember, success is a journey, not a destination. Focus on your own path and celebrate your achievements rather than comparing yourself to others.

Governor Jadalla Issues Gubernatorial Decree and Order Appointing Members for the Board of Directors of CES Engineering Corporation, Outlines Powers and Mandate

Juba, Oct. 28, 2024 (CESGPU) - H.E. Gen. Augustino Jadalla Kamilo Wani, the Governor of Central Equatoria State on Monday issued a Gubernatorial Decree and Order appointing Members for the Board of Directors of the State Engineering Corporation.

The Gubernatorial Decree No.15/2024 appointed members for the Board of Director of Central Equatoria State Engineering Corporation.

The appointed members are Cde. Nyarji Jermlili Roman as the Chairperson of the Board, Eng. Emmanuel Matayo Wani as the Deputy Chairperson of the Board, Cde. Nelson Leju Disderio Ladu as the Secretary of the Board, Cde. Moses Idoru Nyama as a Member of the Board and Eng. James Ndoto Oliver Bakata as a Member of the Board. The Decree comes into effect as from the date of signature of the Governor - Monday, Oct. 28, 2024.

On a related development, Governor Jadalla issued a Gubernatorial Order No.16 for Conferring powers and mandate of Central Equatoria State Engineering Corporation. The outlined powers and mandate of the Corporation include:

• Provide services to grant approvals for building works and construction sector including receiving applications and required documents from clients to obtain approvals of starting works and completion with reviews of structural design etc.

• Provide services to grant approvals for works in public spaces including reviewing client's application for a temporary road closure, approval for a work zone, approval to operate cranes among others.

•Provide services to grant approvals for all kinds of permits and certificates related to engineering works, including monitoring, inspection and control.

• Provide engineering services including construction material laboratory testing such as soil test, geotechnical survey, building structural testing such as load and concrete testing.

• Provide advice on the best practices to be adopted in line with the environmental and waste management services.

• Review and approve engineering projects such as road construction, sewage systems and urban development plans.

• Review budgets for engineering and infrastructure projects while ensuring that funds are appropriately allocated for construction, maintenance and development of public utilities and facilities.

• Policy formulation and regulations related to urban planning in order to align to local and national guidelines.

• Oversee projects related to public safety such as construction of bridges, roads and flood control systems.

• Involvement in maintaining existing infrastructure including roads, water supply, drainage systems and waste management in coordination with the Ministry of Housing.

• Ensuring that infrastructure projects consider environmental impacts and adopt eco-friendly designs.

• Facilitate Public input and addresses concerns from citizens regarding engineering projects.

• Supervision and monitoring of the progress of engineering projects while ensuring that timelines are adhered and costs remain within budget.

• Act as an intermediary to resolve disputes related to engineering projects.

• Provide tender documentation and contract preparation services.

• And provide services to inspect defects in existence and older buildings within jurisdiction of Central Equatoria State.

The Central Equatoria State Engineering Corporation was established through a Gubernatorial Order on Oct. 4, 2024.
