A joint delegation from the European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO), the United Nations Population Fund ( ), and the World Health Organization ( ) conducted a mission to and governorates to review the ongoing humanitarian response.
The delegation observed several UNFPA-supported health facilities, including reproductive health clinics in Aleppo managed with Al-Ehsan Charity Association and the Maternity Hospital in Idlib supported in partnership with Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS).
The visit also focused on monitoring operations on the ground, engaging with medical staff, and assessing existing gaps to further strengthen life-saving health and protection services.
