A joint delegation from the European Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations (ECHO), the United Nations Population Fund ( ), and the World Health Organization ( ) conducted a mission to and governorates to review the ongoing humanitarian response.

The delegation observed several UNFPA-supported health facilities, including reproductive health clinics in Aleppo managed with Al-Ehsan Charity Association and the Maternity Hospital in Idlib supported in partnership with Syrian American Medical Society (SAMS).

The visit also focused on monitoring operations on the ground, engaging with medical staff, and assessing existing gaps to further strengthen life-saving health and protection services.

The continued support of EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid
plays a vital role in ensuring women and girls in Syria have access to essential, life-saving care.

After 7 years in Abu Khashab in northeastern Syria, Hyam & her family of five returned to their home village of Mahqan in rural Al-Mayadin district.

While they now face challenges like limited job opportunities and sharing a home with 4 other families, Hyam says : " the basic services here aren’t perfect, but they are much better than in the camp,”.

Since returning home, Hyam has visited the UNFPA-supported mobile clinic 3 times for health services and was referred to the Community Well-being Center for further care. “Without this clinic, I would have to borrow money to access private health services,” she explained.

supports 8 static clinics and 5 mobile teams in , providing health & protection services to residents & , helping women & families like Hyam’s access care when they need it most.

Samira, 23, traveled over 150 km from her home in Ma’abada city to to visit the -supported Louluwa clinic for family planning services.

After having 3 children, Samira and her husband decided to use family planning methods to space her pregnancies. “We didn’t tell our relatives about this decision because it’s ours alone,” Samira said. “My priority is my health and my family’s well-being.”

Thanks to services like these, women like Samira can make their own choices about their health & future, giving them the freedom and support to care for themselves and their families.

🏥 في ريف السلمية الشرقي في #حماة ، كثير من القرى النائية تعاني من صعوبة المواصلات و ارتفاع تكاليف الوصول إلى المرافق الصحية، مما يجعل الحصول على الرعاية الصحية تحديًا يوميًا.

في هذا الواقع، يشكّل مركز مسعود الصحي نافذة أمل أساسية، حيث تعمل مؤسسة الآغا خان للخدمات الصحية بالتعاون مع صندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان على دعمه لتقديم خدمات صحية مستمرة و مجانية للسكان.

هذا المركز لا يخفف فقط عبء التنقل و التكاليف، بل يضمن أيضًا وصول الرعاية الصحية إلى من هم بأمسّ الحاجة لها في القرى البعيدة. 💜✨

✨ بالحب و الأمل، نصل إلى كل أم في أبعد قرية ✨

📍 في قرية مرج مطر، في ريف السلمية #بحماة، التقينا مجموعة من الأمهات اللواتي ما زال بعضهن يعتقد أن الحليب الصناعي أفضل أو أن حليبهن غير كافٍ.

👩‍⚕️ من خلال جلسات التثقيف الصحي، جرى تصحيح هذه المفاهيم و تعزيز ثقة الأمهات بقدراتهن، إضافة إلى تقديم نصائح عملية حول العناية الذاتية.

بالتعاون مع مؤسسة الآغا خان للخدمات الصحية، تواصل الفرق الطبية الجوالة بدعم من الصندوق الأمم المتحدة للسكان الوصول إلى القرى والبلدات البعيدة عن المراكز الصحية، حاملة معها التوعية و الدعم لمساعدة السيدات على الاهتمام بصحتهن و صحة أطفالهن.💜

✨ كيف يمكن لمكان بسيط أن يمنح كل هذا الأمان ؟

في قرية بلاس بريف #حلب الجنوبي، تحولت المساحة الآمنة في مركز "حياة" إلى محطة يومية لنساء وجدن فيها الطمأنينة و الدعم.

برفقة مقدمي الرعاية، تشارك النساء في أنشطة ترفيهية و توعوية تساعدهن على:

🌸 استعادة النشاط و التفريغ النفسي،
🌸 تعزيز الثقة بالنفس،
🌸 بناء جسور من الدعم المتبادل.

كل جلسة، و كل نشاط، يزرع بذور الفرح و يمنح دفعة جديدة للمضي نحو حياة أكثر قوة و استقراراً. 💜

✨ من الأعمال المنزلية إلى ريادة الأعمال!

وعد (30 عاماً) من دير الزور وجدت شغفها في فن الكونكريت بعد مشاركتها في دورة تدريبية داخل المساحة الآمنة للسيدات و الفتيات.

أول قطعة صنعتها كانت مزهرية أهدتها لوالدتها 💐 و منذ ذلك اليوم بدأت رحلتها في الإنتاج و العمل من المنزل، حيث تتلقى طلبات عبر صفحتها على فيسبوك و تبدع في صنع الهدايا و التذكارات و الإكسسوارات.

"المساحة لم تمنحني تدريباً مهنياً فقط، بل منحتني ثقة أكبر بنفسي و رؤية أوسع للحياة" تقول وعد.

و اليوم تنصح كل فتاة و امرأة:

🌸 "دعوا الماضي خلفكن و ابدأن ببناء مهاراتكن لمستقبل أجمل."
