Maternal mortality and Still birth have been proven to affect mostly adolescents as compared to adults. Maternal mortality refers to the passing away of the woman during the pregnancy or within 42 days of terminating a pregnancy.
Still birth instead, refers to the death of a foetus in the womb after 28 weeks of pregnancy.

Today will be educating about type of STIs and how they can be treated
The types of STIs include syphilis, gonorrhoea, chlamydia, trichomoniasis these ones are the curable ones. The following are incurable; hepatitis B, herpes Simplex virus, HIV and human papillomavirus. These viruses increase the risk of HIV acquisition. By having unprotected s*x one is likely to be infected by sleeping with people who already have the virus. So, it is important to use condoms when engaging in s*xual in*******se. There are vaccines which can be used to treat these viruses such as hepatitis but for HIV and the incurable ones antivirals are available at clinics to modulate the course of the disease. A contraceptive implant is an implantable medical device used for the purpose of birth control. It is placed under the skin in one's upper arm by a doctor or a nurse and it lasts for 3 years.

Once inserted, it steadily releases the hormone progestogen into your bloodstream which prevents the release of an egg each month. It also thickens the cervical mucus which makes it more difficult for s***m to move through the cervix.

The implant may depend on the timed release of hormones to hinder ovulation or s***m development. A contraceptive implant is designed to prevent pregnancy, but it does not protect against s*xually transmitted infections.

The male condom is a thin cover that fits over a man's erect p***s during s*xual in*******se. It helps in preventing female partners from becoming pregnant and getting an infection spread through s*xual contact/from giving one to your partner.

They are made of animal skin, latex rubber and polyurethane. Condoms are the only method of birth control for men that are not permanent. They can be purchased at most drugstores, vending machines, got in restrooms and at certain health care clinics.

Post Partum Depression(PPD) is a maternal mental disorder suffered by a mother after child birth, due to the simultaneous experiences of hormonal changes, fatigue and psychological adjustment to motherhood. It is an infection transmitted through s*xual contact, caused by bacteria, viruses or parasites. Types of STIs include Gonorrhoea, Syphilis, Public ice, Ge***al heroes and so on. The bacteria may pass from person to person in blood,semen or va**nal and other bodily fluids. One can get STIs by having va**nal, a**l, or oral s*x with someone who has this infection.
