Our aim at Selah OT is to improve and mantain independence to carry out daily tasks. For a client with ARTHRITIS, one of the ways our OT provides intervention, is by collaborating with family members to promote lifestyle changes and allowing rest during acute/regressive/emission periods.
Pain management is also provided through using Heat Modalities, Education and Respecting Pain.

Selah OT works with clients who’ve suffered disabling injuries, or any other conditions that limit one’s movement, senses, and activities. We’ve recently celebrated the recovery of a mother, teacher, and wife who was discharged from inpatient admission after a RIGHT- HAND STROKE.

After 6 months of adopting recommended self-care, assistive devices, and exercise, she has regained her upper limb strength. SOT prioritized what was important to her, which was managing household tasks and fulfilling her roles as wife and mother.

Meet our founder, director and Occupational Therapist, Lindelwa Mamba! The founder holds a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Hons) degree from the University of KwaZulu-Natal, currently registered with ESwatini Medical & Dental Council and certified for Neurodevelopmental Therapy Basic Bobath clinician. She has a demonstrated history of working in the private and public health care sector where she was responsible for providing comprehensive assessment, preventative, promotive, and rehabilitative occupational therapy services to patients.
