Greetings to all our amazing followers, today we will be talking about how HIV affects the immune system. HIV (Human imuno deficiency virus) enters the body through blood, semen, vaginal fluids or breast milk often during unprotected s*x, sharing needles, or from mother to child. The immune system has special cells called CD4 cells, they are like commanders 💂 that direct the immune system. HIV targets and destroys those CD4 cells. As HIV kills CD4 cells, the immune system gets weaker, the body can’t fight off common infections, if not treated HIV can lead to AIDS, the most serious stage.
