Our Story
The largest and most established dental clinic serving residents and visitors to the Turks and Caicos Islands for over 20 years, the centre for dental excellence - we welcome new patients and old friends alike.
Our services include all general dental maintenance, crowns, bridges, implants, gum surgery, sinus lifts, cleanings, bleaching, a full orthodontic service including braces and Invisalign, Botox, fillers, and nitrous oxide sedation.
Dr Jo Pretorius took over the business 21 years ago after moving from London, England where he was a partner in two dental practices. With over 30 years experience Dr Jo offers a full range of cosmetic dentistry, crowns and bridges, dentures, fast diagnosis and pain relief.
Dr Jo introduced the first hygiene program in the islands providing education and preventative dentistry. Joined by Leanne Higgs and Lise Gula, the only two practising hygienists in the islands. In 2012 Dr J Victor Eagan joined the practice as Consultant Orthodontist becoming the first specialist orthodontist ever to offer braces in the islands. Dr Eagan works with the team when he is in Provo and the team provide 24/7 care for all orthodontic patients.
In November 2012 Dr del Amo and Dr Mellado joined the practice as specialist periodontal surgeons. Patients have been visiting them at their practices in Florida for many years and now they offer all their periodontal services directly on Provo, once again working with the full time dental team.
The clinic has three fully equipped surgeries to provide state of the art dentistry and dental hygiene for your convenience in a relaxed and friendly setting.
