Turks & Caicos Islands Hospital is proud to announce the deployment of 10 new Cybernet 22โ G Series Computer-on-Wheels units across each of our centres. These advanced mobile workstations will complement our existing suite of desktop and mobile computers, further strengthening our commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and patient-centred care.
The Cybernet 22" G Series medical panel PCs are advanced systems designed for healthcare, supporting tasks like Electronic Health Record (EHR) management and clinical documentation. Featuring Intel Core i5 processors, Windows 11, and 256 GB SSD storage, these devices efficiently run modern medical software while accommodating various I/O ports. Their fanless design minimizes dust circulation and infection risks, reduces maintenance, and offers quiet operation. The intuitive touchscreen works through multiple layers of gloves, and the 22-inch Full HD display includes anti-glare and privacy features for enhanced image quality and security. The series meets IEC 60601-1 and IEC 60601-1-2 standards for electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility.
The new technology offers several benefits, including improved accessibility to patient records at the point of care and an ergonomic design that reduces physical strain and promotes better posture for staff.
Our clinical staff are currently undergoing comprehensive training to ensure they are fully prepared to maximize the benefits of these new systems. Following training, the Cybernet Computer-on-Wheels units will be fully deployed across all inpatient units, enhancing patient care and operational efficiency.
Dr. Denise Braithwaite-Tennant, CEO of TCI Hospital, emphasizes the benefit of these units to enhancing patient care; โThe launch of these Cybernet Computer-on-Wheels units represents a significant step forward in our mission to provide safe, efficient, and patient-focused care. By equipping our staff with the latest technology, we are ensuring that our community receives the highest standard of healthcare in every interaction. We would not be able to achieve this without our partnership with the Turks and Caicos Islands Government and its ongoing commitment to advancing high quality health care for the community of TCI."
The Turks & Caicos Islands Hospital is dedicated to advancing healthcare through innovation, compassion, and excellence. With the addition of the Cybernet G Series mobile workstations, we continue to invest in technologies that improve patient outcomes and enhance the working environment for our clinical teams.
