Try this path to Khao Kalok, Secret Beach.
The effort is worth it. Fantastic...and no one there of course as it is a secret.
Strong shoes, water, Sun shades and lotion, insect repellant....worth taking gloves....the metal hand rails get very hot....and there are lots of cactii around.
It takes about 25 minutes from the beach access. Same starting point as the Khao Kalok Viewpoint Beach side access, but turn left after 20 metres up that path....if you turn right you go up to the Viewpoint.
Better to check that the tide is low, or receding...direct access to the path.....or you will have to wade 30 metres at the beach to access it.
Better to go from the beach access...not the road access which goes up to the viewpoint first, then down the other side to the main beach....adds 40 minutes to the trek.
It is a scramble at times...medium difficulty, but unsuitable for prams, wheelchairs etc.
There are inclined walkways, need to be careful.
Rocky uneven paths. Fixed ropes and hand rails are great.
It is FREE to use the path.
Need to set out earlyish if it is a morning start as the sun is hitting the path from the west.
It is a beautiful bay and beach with caves and clifffs all around you.
