[ Upper back HW 2 ]

🔶 Students who have stiff chest spine

🔶Turtle neck/ tight chest muscle

🔶 Chest spine is called "thoracic spin". As we use smart phone and laptop on desk often, thoracic spine lose its mobility and stiff to bend forward, which will cause roundshoulder and turtle neck in posture.

🔶Video consists of eight poses
* Locust 10reps
* Locust + heel taps 30sec
* Superman 30sec
* Cobra to child 10reps
* Locust variation 10reps
* Upperback squeeze 30 sec
* Spinal twist 10 reps
* Thoracic spine mobilization 5 reps

🔶Please work according to your level from 10 ~ 20 reps but doing it regularly

🔶 Students, I will upload mat exercises that you can do at home so that you can practice at home before next session

🔶 Back workout is made of seven poses
* Lower back lift 20 reps
* Heel taps 20 reps
* Lat pull + Superman 20reps
* Swan 10 reps
* Swimmer 1 minute
* Bird dog 1minute
* Butt squeeze 1minute

🔶 It doesnt have to be 20 reps or 1minute but to start with 15reps and increase gradually according to your level!

🔶Student is from Korea 🇰🇷 same country as teacher so the class was conducted in Korean

🔶She had previous experience of pilates for a year, so she could perform twice more poses than the beginners💦

🔶Pilates might feel slow at the beginning as there are many focal points to make perfect alignment but each session you will do it faster and efficient, so dont worry on slow movement in the beginning ! 🙏
