ขอขอบคุณผู้แทนจาก Thai FDA, PMDA, Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University และ National Cancer Center Hospital
สำหรับการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้และประสบการณ์อันมีคุณค่า ทั้งในด้านคลินิกและด้านกฎระเบียบที่เกี่ยวข้องกับ BNCT ซึ่งจะเป็นประโยชน์อย่างยิ่งต่อการพัฒนาและยกระดับการดูแลผู้ป่วยในอนาคต

The Thailand–Japan Joint BNCT Clinical and Regulatory Workshop 2026 has been successfully concluded.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to representatives from the Thai FDA, PMDA, Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University, and the National Cancer Center Hospital for their valuable contributions and active participation.
The discussions covering both clinical and regulatory aspects of BNCT were highly productive and will play an important role in advancing patient care in the future.

สาขารังสีรักษา โรงพยาบาลศิริราช ได้รับเกียรติจาก Asst. Prof. Natalie Spaccarelli จาก The Ohio State University ประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา มาบรรยายให้ความรู้ในหัวข้อ

1. Melanoma Cancer
2. Managing Skin-related Toxicity from Cancer Therapy

ซึ่งเป็นหัวข้อที่มีความสำคัญอย่างยิ่งต่อการดูแลผู้ป่วยมะเร็งแบบสหสาขาวิชาชีพ โดยเฉพาะในยุคที่การรักษามะเร็งมีความก้าวหน้าและซับซ้อนมากยิ่งขึ้น

นอกจากการบรรยายทางวิชาการแล้ว ยังได้เยี่ยมชมการดำเนินงานของสาขารังสีรักษา และภาควิชาตจวิทยา โรงพยาบาลศิริราช เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ แนวทางการดูแลผู้ป่วย และเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือทางวิชาการระหว่างสถาบัน

The Division of Radiation Oncology, Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, was honored to welcome Asst. Prof. Natalie Spaccarelli from The Ohio State University, USA, who delivered lectures on:

1. Melanoma Cancer
2. Managing Skin-related Toxicity from Cancer Therapy

These topics are highly important in multidisciplinary cancer care, particularly as cancer treatments continue to advance and become increasingly complex.

In addition to the academic lectures, Dr. Spaccarelli also visited the Division of Radiation Oncology and the Department of Dermatology at Siriraj Hospital to exchange experiences, discuss clinical practices, and further strengthen academic collaboration between our institutions.

We sincerely thank Asst. Prof. Spaccarelli for sharing her valuable knowledge and experience with us.

คณะดูงานจากโรงพยาบาลศิริราช สาขารังสีรักษาและมะเร็งวิทยา ภาควิชารังสีรักษา ได้เดินทางไปศึกษาดูงานด้านเทคโนโลยีการรักษามะเร็งด้วยเครื่องเร่งอนุภาคโปรตอน (Proton Beam Therapy) และการฉายรังสีโบรอนนิวตรอน (Boron Neutron Capture Therapy: BNCT) ณ ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ได้แก่

- Sapporo Kojinkai Memorial Hospital
- Hokkaido University Proton Beam Therapy Center
- Southern Tohoku General Hospital

การศึกษาดูงานในครั้งนี้นับเป็นก้าวสำคัญของการสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาบันทางการแพทย์ในระดับนานาชาติ พร้อมทั้งเสริมสร้างองค์ความรู้และประสบการณ์ด้านเทคโนโลยีรังสีรักษาขั้นสูง เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสำหรับโครงการก่อสร้างโรงพยาบาลศิริราชแห่งใหม่ (SI Next)

ทั้งนี้ โรงพยาบาลศิริราชแห่งใหม่ (SI Next) มีแผนติดตั้งเครื่องเร่งอนุภาคโปรตอน และเครื่องฉายรังสีโบรอนนิวตรอน ซึ่งจะเป็นแห่งแรกในประเทศไทย โดยมีกำหนดเปิดให้บริการในปี พ.ศ. 2573 เพื่อยกระดับการรักษาผู้ป่วยโรคมะเร็งด้วยเทคโนโลยีที่ทันสมัยและได้มาตรฐานสากลต่อไป

A delegation from Siriraj Hospital, Division of Radiation Oncology, Department of Radiology, recently visited Japan to study advanced cancer treatment technologies, including Proton Beam Therapy and Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT).
The study visits were conducted at the following institutions:

- Sapporo Kojinkai Memorial Hospital
- Hokkaido University Proton Beam Therapy Center
- Southern Tohoku General Hospital

This visit marks an important milestone in fostering international collaboration and strengthening academic and clinical knowledge in advanced radiation oncology technologies. The experience gained will support the development of the new Siriraj Hospital project (SI Next).

The SI Next facility is planned to house a Proton Beam Therapy system and Thailand’s first Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BNCT) system, with services expected to commence in 2030. This initiative aims to elevate cancer treatment standards in Thailand through state-of-the-art technology and world-class care.
