International Insurance Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) 💫✨
1. How long does it take to check my insurance eligibility? 😷🤕
It depends.
For an OPD visit, it usually takes around 10–20 minutes if the insurance provider has an online portal that allows us to verify benefits. If not, it may take approximately 3–5 days to receive a response from the insurance company.
For a procedure, we will need to submit a pre-approval request to the insurance company, which may take approximately 5–7 days.
2. Do I need to bring my insurance card every time I visit the hospital? 💳
No. ❌ If you have previously visited our hospital and used your insurance benefits, the insurance card will not be required for future visits. However, please present your new insurance card or updated documents if your previous one has expired.
3. What should I do if my insurance is not in the hospital’s network? 🔒👯♀️
Please notify your insurance company prior to receiving treatment.
4. What if it is an emergency and I am unable to contact my insurance company before receiving treatment? 🥀
In such cases, we will request a full deposit for the estimated cost of treatment. Once your insurance company has approved the claim, we will refund the amount corresponding to the covered items back to your account.
