Vulnerability isn’t easy.
Most of us have spent years learning how to protect ourselves…
to hold things in, to stay strong, to not let too much show.

But the truth is, we can’t move forward while staying completely guarded.

Growth asks something different of us.
It asks us to be seen, even just a little.
To soften, even when it feels uncomfortable.
To let ourselves feel, instead of always holding it together.

Vulnerability doesn’t mean sharing everything with everyone.
It means allowing yourself to be honest in safe spaces.
With the right people.
At your own pace.

And sometimes… that’s where the shift begins.

If this resonates, you’re not alone 🤍
I’m here when you’re ready to explore this gently.

There’s this quiet idea that therapists have everything sorted

But the truth is… we don’t

We overthink
We feel anxious
We question ourselves
We have days where things feel a bit heavy or unclear

Not because we’re doing something wrong
but because we’re human

And honestly, that’s what allows us to truly understand what others are going through

Healing isn’t about having it all together

It’s about learning how to sit with yourself
through the messy, uncertain moments
with a little more compassion each time

If you’ve been feeling like you “should” be doing better by now…
you’re not alone in that 🤍

If you’ve been thinking about reaching out for support, this might be your gentle reminder that you don’t have to do it alone 🤍

If you’re living in Thailand…
this is something I gently encourage my clients to try

Going to a temple and simply sitting…
listening to the monks chant.

Not to understand it
Not to do anything perfectly
Not even to stay long

Just to be there.

Because something really interesting happens in your body when you listen to chanting.

The slow, rhythmic sound naturally begins to slow your breathing
The longer exhales help activate your nervous system’s calming response
And your body starts to shift out of overwhelm

Research shows chanting can support
• reducing stress and anxiety
• improving mood
• regulating the nervous system
• bringing the body back into a more balanced state

But honestly…
you don’t even need to understand the science to feel it

Your body already knows.

There’s something about sitting in that space
hearing those sounds
feeling the stillness around you

that gently reminds your system…
you’re safe enough to soften

If things have been feeling like a lot lately
this might be something simple to try this week

You don’t have to do anything
just sit and listen

Today is Harmony Day 🤍

And while it’s often about culture and diversity,
I think it also speaks to something quieter…
the human need to feel like we belong.

Not just in the world,
but in our own lives.

In our friendships.
In our relationships.
In the spaces we move through each day.

Because so many women I work with don’t feel that.

They’ve learned to adapt,
to fit in,
to mask parts of themselves just to feel accepted.

And over time, that can feel exhausting…
and a little lonely.

Harmony, to me, isn’t about fitting in.
It’s about feeling safe enough to be who you are.

You deserve spaces where you don’t have to shrink.
You don’t have to explain yourself.
You can just be.

If that feels far away right now…
you’re not alone in that 🤍

Sometimes living abroad looks beautiful from the outside.

The beaches.
The sunshine.
The freedom of building a life somewhere new.

But what people don’t always see is the quieter side of living overseas.

Missing family.
Trying to adjust to a new culture.
Feeling like you should be grateful because you chose this life.

Many women living abroad quietly carry a lot on their own.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or like you don’t quite feel like yourself lately, you’re not the only one.

These feelings are much more common than people realise.

Having a space where you can talk openly and feel understood can make a big difference.

You don’t have to navigate this chapter of life alone.

Supportive therapy for women navigating anxiety, ADHD, and life transitions while living abroad.

Have you ever experienced loneliness while living abroad?

Today is International Women’s Day.
A day to celebrate the strength, courage, and resilience of women everywhere.

But it’s also a moment to acknowledge something many women know deeply… the invisible weight they carry.
The emotional labour.
The responsibility for others.
The pressure to keep going even when things feel overwhelming.
So many women are supporting everyone else while quietly managing their own struggles.

Today is a reminder that your wellbeing matters too.
You deserve rest.
You deserve support.
You deserve spaces where you can be honest about how you’re really feeling.

May we continue creating a world where women support each other, lift each other up, and remind one another that we don’t have to carry everything alone.
This is why spaces where women feel safe, supported, and understood matter so much.
Happy International Women’s Day.

I’ve created something I wish existed for a long time.

A private Facebook community for neurodivergent women living in Thailand.

Many women navigating ADHD, autism, masking, overwhelm, or burnout while living abroad often do it quietly and without the kind of understanding or support that would make things easier.

Living in a different country can already be a big adjustment. When you add neurodivergence into the mix it can sometimes feel lonely or confusing.

This space is simply for connection, shared experiences, and support from women who understand.

If you’re living in Thailand and identify as neurodivergent, or you’re exploring this part of yourself, you are very welcome.

It’s a private group so members can share openly and safely.

Even in a place as beautiful as Koh Samui, the world can sometimes feel uncertain.
Lately many people have been feeling it.

More news. More speculation. Petrol queues. Conversations about what might happen next.
When uncertainty rises, our minds naturally try to search for answers, but sometimes the constant information can leave us feeling even more unsettled.

This month I had the opportunity to write a guest blog for Sisters on Samui about gentle ways to stay grounded when the world feels overwhelming.
If things have felt a little heavy lately, you may find it helpful.
