သားအိမ်ခေါင်းကင်ဆာသည်အမျိုးသမီးများတွင် အဖြစ်အများဆုံး ကြောက်မက်ဖွယ်ရောဂါ
သားအိမ်ခေါင်းကင်ဆာ ကာကွယ်ဆေး (HPV) ဖြင့် ကြိုတင်ကာကွယ်နိုင်ပါတယ်

စာရင်းဇယားများအရ ထိုင်းအမျိုးသမီးများသည် သားအိမ်ခေါင်းကင်ဆာကြောင့် တစ်နေ့လျှင် ပျမ်းမျှ ၈ ဦးမှ ၁၀ ဦးခန့် အသက်ဆုံးရှုံးနေရကြောင်း တွေ့ရှိရပါသည်။ အဆိုပါရောဂါသည် အဓိကအားဖြင့် လိင်ဆက်ဆံရာမှတစ်ဆင့် ကူးစက်တတ်သော HPV (Human Papillomavirus) ကြောင့် ဖြစ်ပွားခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါသည်။
