LANGSUAN VILLAGE WALKING STREET
Langsuan Village is the new luxurious mixed used development in central Bangkok, a new landmark that will inspire modern sustainable urban developments. Stretching over 50 Rai of prime real estate, the project is located opposite the verdant Lumpini Park. The master plan also features a generous green space with a low-density ratio that will enhance its resident’s living standards. The Langsuan village consists of the Sindhorn Residence, Apartments, Serviced Apartments, an international hotel, an art museum, a health center, and the Langsuan ‘Walking Street’ retail plaza.
The Langsuan Walking Street is an extension of Lumpini Park, meandering into the urban fabric with its lush green features. The project stretches 300 meters along Langsuan Road towards the park. Walking Street Langsuan is a 3-story outdoor mall, totaling 6958 sq.m of salable area, with commercial and retail spaces including cafes, restaurants, service shops, and areas dedicated for the community.
The organic planning of Walking Street enhances the flowing landscape of the roof, as the lengthy green structure wanders over the street below. The massive green roof is supported by branches of treelike columns and canopies over the shopping areas and pedestrian walkways to accentuate the experience of strolling in a park. The experience is heightened as 5 main courts shimmer with rays of light seeping through the roof canopy, creating shadows below like the pattern of leaves. The randomly perforated ceiling does not only function in daylight, but also illuminates during the night like fire-flies. Its organic form that extends towards the Lumpini Park can be appreciated when approach from Langsuan road, creating a memorable impact for visitors through the walking street, distinctive animated.
