La Embajada de Panamá en Tailandia participó en la 5ª edición del Seminario de Tailandia-América Latina y el Caribe bajo el lema: “Creative Exchange: Bridging Thai–Latin American Cultures, Building Opportunities”, organizado por el Ministerio de Asuntos Exteriores de Tailandia, en el cual atendieron las embajadas de países latinoamericanos acreditados en Tailandia, a fin de compartir actualizaciones sobre las perspectivas económicas de Tailandia y los países de América Latina y el Caribe, con atención especial a las políticas e iniciativas que apoyan las industrias creativas y el Soft Power.

En esta ocasión, representando a la embajada, H.S. Harold Randy Hayle realizó presentación titulada: “Creative Gateways: Leveraging Panama’s Hub Status for Thai Cultural Exports”, dando conocer sobre las ofertas que Panamá dispone para el mundo como hub de logística para promover las industrias emergentes y servirse de la puerta de conexión entre las regiones.

Al mismo tiempo, la Cancillería tailandesa brindó espacios para las embajadas latinoamericanas en promover oportunidades de inversión, incentivos y áreas de posible colaboración, así como facilitar las conexiones entre las partes interesadas de los sectores público y privado.

The Embassy of Panama in Thailand participated in the 5th edition of the Thailand-Latin America and Caribbean Seminar under the theme: "Creative Exchange: Bridging Thai–Latin American Cultures, Building Opportunities," organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand. The seminar was attended by the embassies of Latin American countries accredited in Thailand, with the aim of sharing updates on the economic outlook for Thailand and the Latin American and Caribbean countries, with a special focus on policies and initiatives that support creative industries and soft power.

On this occasion, representing the embassy, Mr. Harold Randy Hayle gave a presentation entitled: “Creative Gateways: Leveraging Panama's Hub Status for Thai Cultural Exports,” highlighting Panama's offers to the world as a logistics hub to promote emerging industries and serve as a gateway between regions.

At the same time, the Thai Foreign Ministry provided opportunities for Latin American embassies to promote investment opportunities, incentives, and areas of potential collaboration, as well as to facilitate connections between stakeholders in the public and private sectors.

Durante este primer año de la administración del presidente José Raúl Mulino, el Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores alcanzó importantes objetivos bajo la dirección del canciller Javier Martínez-Acha Vásquez.

La política exterior de Panamá se basa en la defensa incondicional de los intereses nacionales y en la promoción del país como una democracia estable, dinámica, participativa y de libre mercado.

La diplomacia panameña es un instrumento de desarrollo que alinea las acciones de la política exterior con los objetivos de desarrollo del país, para consolidar alianzas estratégicas con importantes socios comerciales, relanzar relaciones y apoyar el multilateralismo en las distintas organizaciones de las Naciones Unidas y la Organización de los Estados Americanos (OEA).

During this first year of President José Raúl Mulino's administration, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs achieved important objectives under the leadership of Foreign Minister Javier Martínez-Acha Vásquez.

Panama's foreign policy is based on the unconditional defense of national interests and the promotion of the country as a stable, dynamic, participatory and free market democracy.

Panamanian diplomacy is an instrument of development that aligns foreign policy actions with the country's development objectives, to consolidate strategic alliances with important trading partners, relaunch relations and support multilateralism in the various organizations of the United Nations and the Organization of American States (OAS).

En la oficina de la Embajada en Tailandia, S.E. Diego Arango Pezet, Embajador de Panamá y H.S. Harold Randy Hayle Hernández recibieron la visita del equipo de profesores y estudiantes de diseño de la Universidad Rajabhat Rambhai Barni a fin de concretar detalles para el vestuario confeccionado de la seda tailandesa para la 14ª edición de la Celebración de Seda Tailandesa: Seda Tailandesa al Mundo 2025, que tendrá lugar el próximo mes de junio del presente año.

En esta oportunidad, al expresar agradecimientos, elogiaron a los profesores y estudiantes por sus esfuerzos y dedicación en su trabajo en el diseño y la confección de vestuario de seda tailandesa que refleja de forma perfecta la mezcla entre los elementos de dos culturas nacionales.

At the Embassy of Panama in Thailand, H.E. Diego Arango Pezet, Ambassador of Panama and Mr. Harold Randy Hayle Hernandez welcomed the team of design teachers and students of Rambhai Barni Rajabhat University to finalize details for the costumes made of Thai silk for the 14th edition of the Thai Silk Celebration: Thai Silk to the World 2025, which will be held in June of this year.

On this occasion, while expressing appreciations, they praised the teachers and students for their efforts and dedication in their work in designing and tailoring Thai silk costumes that perfectly reflect the fusion between the elements of two national cultures.
