In Bangkok, CHAEN Tea Experience offers a premium tea journey inspired by the serene elegance of the Japanese tea ceremony. The space invites guests to embrace calm and mindfulness while enjoying their sip of tea.

The interior, influenced by the philosophy of ‘wabi-sabi’ and the Fukinsei principle, celebrates asymmetry and the beauty of imperfection. Natural raw materials like wood, concrete, and stone are thoughtfully selected throughout, reflecting a deep connection to the roots while maintaining a clean and authentic aesthetics of simplicity.

On the challenge of design, the goal not only to make SOLNE CLINIC stand out and become more than just a unique beauty clinic, but also reflecting the clinic’s core values of handmade, crafting, and care.

Recognizing that every individual has a unique skin tone, we embraced this challenge as the main concept of the project. We selected architectural materials that mimic the various textures and tones of skin. By incorporating materials such as stucco in dark, medium, and light brown shades, along with modern finishes that represent skin pigments, the SOLNE project stands out with a unique identity that set apart from others.

The concept of บ้าน-ตลาด-วัด-วัง (House-Market-Temple-Palace) effectively embodies the quintessence of “Thai-ness,” informing the architectural façade of Central Village, an impressive 40,000-square-meter luxury retail development adjacent to Suvarnabhumi Airport.

Central Village draws inspiration from traditional Thai architectural elements, particularly the gabled roofs that resonate with both local and international patrons. The layout is strategically segmented into specialized zones, including Pottery Village, Woodworking Village, Basket Weaving Village, and Ironworking Village. This zoning approach fosters a unified architectural narrative, utilizing authentic local materials and textures, as well as contextually appropriate color schemes. Such meticulous design curation not only enhances the visual and tactile qualities of the environment but also ensures a distinctive and immersive experience for shoppers.

We have reinterpreted the historical essence of Ayutthaya through a modern lens.

The central lobby area of The Escent Ayutthaya is greets visitors with a blend of comfortable, contemporary furnishings while thoughtfully incorporating elements of traditional Thai architectural concepts. This design features classic angular forms, flooring patterns, and references to the iconic ruins of Ayutthaya. However, we have reimagined these elements using contemporary materials that create an inviting, harmonious, and relaxing atmosphere.
