As you enter the reception at Arun Khiri, you’re welcomed by a stunning fusion of modern sophistication and serene contrasts. The rich warmth of teakwood seamlessly complements the crisp white plaster and striking black paneling, crafting an atmosphere that feels both welcoming and elevated. It’s a beautifully curated space that masterfully balances minimalist design with a rich sensory experience.

The remarkable brick feature wall, adorned with intricate patterns inspired by the exquisite Lanna textiles. As sunlight cascades in, this wall comes to life—the shifting shadows dance playfully, evoking the gentle movement of fabric caught in a soft breeze.

More than just a reception, this space serves as a captivating dialogue between texture and tone, where time-honored artistry breathes new life through contemporary craftsmanship.

At Arun Khiri Boutique Hotel, the arrival experience is calm and purposeful. Framed by tall terracotta walls, the courtyard invites you in with its gentle rhythm and linear elegance. Each brick is meticulously laid in patterns inspired by traditional Lanna weaving, honoring heritage through texture, light, and shadow.

The modern landscape features gravel paths and warm timber seating that complement the boldness of the brick—sheltered beneath a sweeping roofline that references northern Thai forms with a contemporary touch.

In Bangkok, CHAEN Tea Experience offers a premium tea journey inspired by the serene elegance of the Japanese tea ceremony. The space invites guests to embrace calm and mindfulness while enjoying their sip of tea.

The interior, influenced by the philosophy of ‘wabi-sabi’ and the Fukinsei principle, celebrates asymmetry and the beauty of imperfection. Natural raw materials like wood, concrete, and stone are thoughtfully selected throughout, reflecting a deep connection to the roots while maintaining a clean and authentic aesthetics of simplicity.

On the challenge of design, the goal not only to make SOLNE CLINIC stand out and become more than just a unique beauty clinic, but also reflecting the clinic’s core values of handmade, crafting, and care.

Recognizing that every individual has a unique skin tone, we embraced this challenge as the main concept of the project. We selected architectural materials that mimic the various textures and tones of skin. By incorporating materials such as stucco in dark, medium, and light brown shades, along with modern finishes that represent skin pigments, the SOLNE project stands out with a unique identity that set apart from others.
