คณบดีคณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ ม.มหิดล ร่วมประชุม Global Forum of WHO Collaborating Centres พร้อมเยี่ยมชม WHO Academy ณ ประเทศฝรั่งเศส
รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.เอมพร รตินธร คณบดีคณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ในฐานะ ประธานร่วมของ Global Network for WHO Collaborating Centres for Nursing and Midwifery Development พร้อมด้วย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุภาภัค เภตราสุวรรณ รองคณบดีฝ่ายวิเทศสัมพันธ์และสื่อสารองค์กร ได้เข้าร่วมการประชุม The First Global Forum of WHO Collaborating Centres (WHOCCs) ซึ่งจัดขึ้นระหว่างวันที่ 7–9 เมษายน 2569 ณ เมืองลียง สาธารณรัฐฝรั่งเศส
การประชุม Global Forum of WHO Collaborating Centres นี้ จัดโดยองค์การอนามัยโลก (World Health Organization: WHO) มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่าง WHO Collaborating Centres จากทั่วโลก ผู้นำองค์การอนามัยโลก ประเทศสมาชิก และภาคีเครือข่ายที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อร่วมกำหนดทิศทางและบทบาทของ WHO Collaborating Centres ในการขับเคลื่อนประเด็นสุขภาพระดับโลกให้สอดคล้องกับ WHO Global Programme of Work ฉบับที่ 14 (GPW14) โดยภายในงานประกอบด้วยการบรรยายระดับสูง การเสวนาเชิงนโยบาย การแลกเปลี่ยนผลงานและประสบการณ์ของศูนย์ความร่วมมือฯ รวมถึงกิจกรรมเพื่อออกแบบแนวทางการเสริมสร้างความเข้มแข็งและความเป็นเอกภาพของเครือข่าย WHO Collaborating Centres ในอนาคต
ในโอกาสเดียวกันนี้ คณะผู้แทนจากคณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ยังได้เข้าเยี่ยมชม WHO Academy ศูนย์การเรียนรู้ระดับโลกขององค์การอนามัยโลก ภายใต้แนวคิด “Explore the WHO Academy – creating lifelong learning for the global health workforce” เพื่อศึกษาแนวทางการพัฒนาแพลตฟอร์มการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิตสำหรับบุคลากรด้านสุขภาพทั่วโลก อันเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการต่อยอดความร่วมมือด้านการศึกษา การวิจัย และการพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรทางการพยาบาลและการผดุงครรภ์ในระดับนานาชาติ
การเข้าร่วมประชุม Global Forum of WHO Collaborating Centres และการเยี่ยมชม WHO Academy ในครั้งนี้ สะท้อนบทบาทสำคัญของคณะพยาบาลศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยมหิดล ในการมีส่วนร่วมอย่างแข็งขันกับเครือข่ายวิชาการและวิชาชีพด้านสุขภาพในระดับโลก ตลอดจนการขับเคลื่อนองค์ความรู้และการเสริมสร้างความร่วมมือด้านการพยาบาลและการผดุงครรภ์ อันจะนำไปสู่การพัฒนาศักยภาพบุคลากรและระบบสุขภาพอย่างยั่งยืนในอนาคต...............................
Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, Participates in the First Global Forum of WHO Collaborating Centres and Visits the WHO Academy in France
Associate Professor Dr. Ameporn Ratinthorn, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, in her capacity as Co-Chair of the Global Network for WHO Collaborating Centres for Nursing and Midwifery Development, together with Assistant Professor Dr. Supapak Phetrasuwan, Associate Dean for International Relations and Corporate Communications, participated in The First Global Forum of WHO Collaborating Centres (WHOCCs) held from 7–9 April 2026 in Lyon, France.
Organized by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Global Forum of WHO Collaborating Centres aimed to strengthen collaboration among WHO Collaborating Centres worldwide, WHO leadership, Member States, and key partners. The forum provided a platform to align priorities and redefine the future role of WHO Collaborating Centres in advancing global health in accordance with the WHO Global Programme of Work (GPW14). The program featured high-level addresses, policy dialogues, sharing of best practices, and contributions from WHOCCs, as well as participatory sessions to design a more coordinated and effective global WHOCC community.
On this occasion, the delegation from the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University, also visited the WHO Academy, the WHO’s global learning hub, under the theme “Explore the WHO Academy – creating lifelong learning for the global health workforce.” The visit offered valuable insights into innovative approaches for lifelong learning and capacity building for health professionals, supporting future collaboration in education, research, and workforce development in nursing and midwifery at the international level.
Participation in the Global Forum of WHO Collaborating Centres and the visit to the WHO Academy underscore the Faculty of Nursing, Mahidol University’s strong engagement with global academic and professional health networks, as well as its commitment to advancing knowledge and strengthening collaboration in nursing and midwifery to support the sustainable development of health systems worldwide.
