We’re so excited and looking forward to welcoming all participants to our first and stylish TGMET-FPMRS workshop!!! This one-day workshop is a collaboration between TGMET Center and the Division of Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery aiming to precisely focus on specific and interesting issues in urogynecology. We deliver the straight-to-the-point messages through talks and live surgery in order to provide comprehensive knowledge and understanding within 1 day of workshop engagement. This year’s theme involves pelvic organ prolapse repair, targeting on hysterectomy through different routes of surgery and the comparative surgical options of laparoscopic pelvic floor reconstruction and vaginal obliterative procedure.

Thai-German Multidisciplinary Endoscopic Training (TGMET) center, in collaboration with Medtronic and the Gynecological Endoscopy Division of the Royal Thai College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, is ready to welcome our 2024 GYN endoscopy fellows to the ‘whole new world’ of minimally invasive gynecologic surgery in the up-coming porcine hands-on MIGS workshop.

Our training course begins with the comprehensive knowledge in electrosurgery, wound healing and closure, laparoscopic surgery, and operative hysteroscopy. To promote more understanding and familiarity, participating in an interactive live surgery and practicing in the hands-on pelvic trainer are mandatory. Finally, it’s time for implementation of the knowledge and skills into an actual laparoscopic surgery in the porcine model.

This is a continuing collaboration between Thai-German Multidisciplinary Endoscopic Training Center, Phramongkutklao Gynecological Endoscopy Unit, Ethicon, and Kosin Medical Supply to organize a one-day workshop in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, in the form of lectures and live surgery, at a general hospital outside of Bangkok that has potential and interest in developing their GYN MIS healthcare service for the community.

We are very greatful for the warm hospitality and the superb teamwork of Photharam Hospital to perfectly organize this workshop. We also appreciate the ongoing support from Ethicon and Kosin Medical Supply. Last but not least, thanks to all participants for their interest and participation.

Apart from achieving desired tissue effects during surgery, the surgeon can also obtain optimal surgical outcomes while avoiding preventable complications. Hence, the TG-MET Center, in collaboration with Johnson & Johnson MedTech and Ethicon, would like to welcome all of you to our comprehensive workshop on “Science of Energy” which will entail the concepts and clinical application of all sources of electrosurgery, both monopolar and bipolar, as well as ultrasonic energy through lectures, hands-on, live surgery, and case discussion.
