Manual Therapy Training | April 5
In this session, we practiced manual therapy techniques in a side-lying position to release the quadratus lumborum, gluteus maximus, gluteus medius, and gluteus minimus👐
By identifying bony landmarks, we targeted muscle attachment sites and areas prone to adhesions and trigger points.
Techniques were applied along muscle fiber direction, combining stretching and release using fingers and elbows to improve flexibility.
The side-lying position allows better movement and more effective treatment ✨
Reduced flexibility in the gluteal muscles can affect pelvic stability during walking, leading to lower back, hip, or knee pain. Patients may also experience tightness, heaviness, or even numbness around the hip area.
This session focused on muscles commonly related to headaches and neck–shoulder pain, such as the sternocleidomastoid, levator scapulae, and suboccipital muscles.
We practiced locating trigger points and reviewed proper needle direction and insertion angles.
These muscles are often affected by poor posture and trigger point formation, making accurate technique important.
📚 Physical Therapy Advanced Class | Weekend Training (Mar 7)
This session focused on postural stress related to myofascial low back pain.
Therapists practiced analyzing patient symptoms through interviews, posture, and movement assessments to identify possible causes of pain.
In the second half, we trained in neck ultrasound assessment, learning to identify inflammation, reduced tissue gliding, and tissue changes to help guide more targeted treatment.
All branches will be closed from Tuesday, March 17 to Thursday, March 19 due to staff training.

📚 Physical Therapy | Middle Class Weekend Morning Training (Feb 21)
In this session, we began with functional checks (flexibility and stability) of other body areas for patients with myofascial low back pain.
We then focused on understanding posture and movement patterns that may place extra stress on the lower back, practicing how to identify possible causes through key information gathered during interviews and assessments.
✔ Does the pain appear after sitting for a long time?
✔ Does it hurt when putting on pants?
✔ Is there pain during specific movements?
Different symptoms require different evaluation perspectives. Sometimes, compensatory postures caused by pain in other areas can also increase stress on the lower back.
By objectively organizing how pain appears and how the body moves, our therapists continue training so we can clearly explain to patients which movements or posture changes may help them feel more comfortable ✨
