This post is a little nerdy.↙️

When you’re madly in love with someone, you’re willing to do anything for them, right?
It’s the same with your passion project.
When I fall in love with the work I do, I decide that I am willing to do anything to make it work which means I have to:
💥Bust through my fear of public speaking
💥Stop hiding behind the label of introvert as a reason not to go to networking opportunities.
💥Show up on camera—even on the bad hair day
💥Slow down with traveling plans so I could stay consistent and bring my coaching business to life
💥Stay up until 1:30am learning business skills, then wake up at 5:30am to deepen my coaching practice
What I’ve been willing to do didn’t come with instant results.
It’s been nearly 2 years of building behind the scenes, layered on top of 8 years spent learning to master the art of coaching.
During this time, I’ve learned to roll up my sleeves and keep going, no matter the season of life—applying the same tools I teach on emotional integration, so I could become my own best testimonial.
Yes, this takes effort—but it doesn’t have to be complicated.
Sometimes, all it takes is a small, brave decision.

When I was working for a company, I loved hiring people who had passion projects on the side. (My last two team members before I left were exactly that.)
I’ve seen firsthand that people with a side business often bring a different level of efficiency to everything they do.
They learn fast, adapt quickly, and bring creative problem-solving skills to the job.
Both of them excelled in their roles—even though they started with minimal experience.
I believe those who challenge themselves to grow beyond the comfort of security are the ones who will succeed—it’s only a matter of time.
I don’t believe that having a side business means sacrificing results where you are. I actually think it’s the opposite.
I learned to optimize my time, improve work processes, and communicate better because I wanted to keep both jobs at one point—the same thing I saw in both of my team members.

Speaking about my previous career at SISB on Career Day made me pause and look back.
Back then, I started working because I wanted a stable income.
A good paycheck for the energy I poured in.
I did well. I was good at what I did. So I kept climbing, going after that one direction of success definition.
But life had other plans.
The divorce changed everything.
It broke me open. It showed me there’s more to life than just work and promotions.
If I hadn’t gone through challenging divorce process, I wouldn’t have met my first coach.
I wouldn’t even know what coaching really is.
When I was in the middle of it all, I remember asking, “why me?”
But now, looking back and seeing how much strength I found in myself —
the question turns to be, “why not me?”
Maybe that’s what life does.
It brings us into the lesson so we can meet parts of ourselves we didn’t know existed.
If you’re in the middle of a hard chapter right now, I hope you know this —
It won’t be like this forever.
Keep tuning in. Life might just be redirecting you to meet the next level of yourself.
