🌏✨ SSPO Strengthening International Collaboration in Indonesia
On 13 February 2026, Assoc. Prof. Gulapar Srisawasdi, Director of the Sirindhorn School of Prosthetics and Orthotics (SSPO), Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, together with Ms. Nathanit Jirapongpathai, Assistant Lecturer, visited the Jakarta School of Prosthetics and Orthotics in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The delegation received a warm welcome from the institution’s executives and faculty members, many of whom are distinguished alumni of SSPO. The visit was marked by a strong sense of academic pride and longstanding professional connection. Both parties engaged in constructive discussions regarding the renewal of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), with the shared objective of advancing educational collaboration and strengthening professional development in Prosthetics and Orthotics across the region.
Subsequently, on 14–15 February 2026, Assoc. Prof. Gulapar Srisawasdi and Ms. Nathanit Jirapongpathai were honored to be invited by ISPO Indonesia as guest speakers at the 5th ISPO Indonesia Scientific Meeting, Symposium and Workshop. They delivered academic lectures on the topic of Diabetic Foot, contributing to interdisciplinary knowledge exchange and professional capacity building within the field.
Participation in these activities underscores SSPO’s continued commitment to academic excellence, regional engagement, and the expansion of international networks in Prosthetics and Orthotics. The visit not only reinforced institutional partnerships but also reflected SSPO’s strategic role in fostering sustainable academic collaboration at the international level.
