One of the key systems supporting this initiative is the installation of Solar Cells (Solar PV System) across hospital structures to increase the proportion of clean energy used on-site.

Many people may picture hospitals filled with cutting-edge medical technology.
But at Vejthani Wattanavipa, we value nature and the environment just as much. 🌿

From the very begining of the design process, we integrated the concept of a Retention Pond is a key component of our water management system:

💧 1. Prevent flooding
Temporarily store rainwater during heavy downpours,
reduce the amount of runoff entering drainage systems and public canals at once, and slow down water discharge to prevent overflow or blockages in the main system.

💧 2. Serve as a water reservoir
The stored water can be reused in the future for various purposes.

💧 3. Improve water quality
Rainwater that flows across surfaces settles in the pond,
allowing sediments and solids to naturally filter out before being released into the public drainage system.

All of this reflects our commitment to sustainable design,
developed in accordance with LEED Gold – Building Design & Construction: Healthcare standards and inspired by Biophilic Design, which harmoniously blends technology with nature.
