Structural Energywork

Structural Energywork is a blend of ancient Thai/khmer knowledge and modern massage therapy techniques. Aches, pains, stiffness and headaches often disappear.

Structural Energywork is PJ Stambaugh's massage therapy practice, focused on clearing the body's structural energy channels to provide physical and emotional relief. Many recipients of this therapy find physical and emotional relief through this transformative massage style. Structural Energywork clears blocked energy ("wind" or "Chi") residing in the body's structural energy pathways that support the body's mobility. Muscles, tendons, joints, fascia and other conducting soft tissue components that support the skeletal structure comprise the energetic pathways through which run structural energy. Constrictions along these pathways have physical manifestations which result in aches and decreased mobility. Structural energy flow can be impacted by physical activity such as repetitive movements, injury and muscle overuse. Structural energy can also be often stress and emotional trauma. Structural Energywork is most effective when the recipient is able to "let go", connect with their body and breath. The work can be deep or very gentle, according to what is appropriate and helpful for the recipient. Those who have received Structural Energywork often express a sensation of feeling lighter.
